Summary:

Paul’s message to Emma. His friends…family have gotten infected by the apotheosis. He doesn’t know if Emma’s alive, she won’t respond. Thinking of the worst case scenario, he sends her one last message.

Hey, Emma. So I don’t know how far this thing has spread, hell I don’t even know if it’s bad enough for certain parts of town to know. But just in case, I just want to say I love you so so much. I’ve never met anyone like you, even when you dismissed me when we first met, you had me absolutely smitten. I love everything about you, you made me feel like I was worth something. I will never forget what you’ve done for me and I hope that I was enough for you, if I wasn’t, I’m sorry. I never was the most expressive guy or anything of the sort, but I genuinely love you. A lot. So if anything happens, I’m sorry. I’m sorry if I was never enough, I’m sorry if I ever did anything to annoy you, and I’m sorry that we never got to do all of the things we planned to do. I really hope you, Tom, and Tim are already out of Hatchetfield. If I don’t make it, I love you.
