Chapter Text
December 18th, 2003.
In Shizuoka prefecture, in a little town, we see a house. Its not very big, but not very small either, it has 2 floors. On the second floor, in a room, a little boy hides under the blanket. He has messy green hair, beautiful emerald-coloured eyes and diamond-shaped freckles. His name is Izuku Midoriya, and he is 2 years old. He was shaking in fear, tears were dripping out of his eyes. After few seconds, he got up out of his bed and rushed towards his parents' bedroom.
"Mommy... Daddy..." Izuku almost shouted, knocking on the door. Behind the door were heard rustling, and soon enough a Man opened the door, rubbing his eyes. He was tall, almost 180 cm high. He also had messy hair, black in colour and diamond-shaped freckles as well. His body was shaped to be athletic. He wore baggy pajamas with duck paintings. His name was Hisashi Midoriya
" What is it little guy..? Me and mommy are sleeping..." sleepily muttered a man, while yawning.
"Daddy... There's a monster under my bed..!" said Izuku in a hoarse voice while pushing his father towards his room. "Its very scary..."
"What..? A monster?" asked Hisashi, fully awake. "Don't make things up Izuku, monsters aren't real." he said, while going into Izuku's room.
"But it is!" replied Izuku, not daring to take a single step towards his bed. "It's just under there!"
Hisashi groaned and took blanket away to see, what's under the bed. And as he expected, there was nothing under there.
"See, Izuku?" calmly said Hisashi, turning to his son. "There is no one under there. Come here and take a look."
Izuku believed his father and approached him. But when he looked under his bed, Izuku froze in fear. Under his bed, was laying a monstrous creature. It's skin was rotten-green colour, It had legs growing out its spine and four arms, two on each sides. It had three eyes, each different in size. Finally, it had big mouth, it was opened, mist of hot air was emerging from there. Monster noticed them, all three eyes stared at Izuku. It started to make strange sounds, trying to reach out to them, but it was stuck. Finally, Izuku snapped out of it and with a shout of fear crawled all the way to the hallway wall. Hisashi, surprised with that behaviour, quickly approached little boy, hugging him.
"What's wrong, little guy? Did something scare you?" asked Hisashi worriedly. Izuku said nothing, but pointed towards the space under his bed. Hisashi looked there, and back at Izuku.
"Y'know what?" said Hisashi, picking Izuku up and rubbing his nose. "If you're scared, you will sleep with us today. Is it okay?"
Izuku noded, hugging his father tighter. With this, Hisashi walked back to his room, with Izuku in his hands. That night was the night, when Izuku was destined to become something big.
July 15th. 2005.
It was a fine summer day, just after the rain. Not too hot, just warm. We see a big park, flooded with trees. Many people walk there to enjoy nature or just rest. Somewhere, a family of three walks on the road, full of other people. They are the Midoriya family: Hisashi, Inko, and Izuku. Sinse he was born, Izuku could see these sinister creatures, all shapes and sizes. Some were just standing there, some were sitting on shoulders of people. After a close encounter in his bedroom, Izuku was curious about these creatures, how do they appear, what do they do, why can't other people see them, Izuku didn't know. And because he can see them, kids in his kindergarten often laugh at him, but that doesn't matter. It was his birthday, and his parents decided to go to the park to celebrate it. They were happy, discussing various things, Izuku was happy to have his parents with him. But all good things must come to an end someday. In the distance we heard screams. Midoriya's turned around to look what happened, but then were frozen in fear. Right in front of them a humanoid being were on a rampage. It didn't have a mouth, its face was covered in eyes, it was pale white. It had short hands, but very long and sharp claws. It also had four legs. The thing was killing people left and right, be it a child or an elder, no one was spared. Its hands were dripping blood.
Without a thought Hisashi took Izuku in his arms and set off running. Inko followed him right away, like all other people around. The thing noticed sudden movements and rushed towards the crowd, making weird wavy growling noises (despite not having a mouth). It reduced the distance to people in no time and it started a bloodbath. While killing people on its way, it sensed very tasty scent. After some time of looking around it looked straight at Izuku. In its vision, Izuku had waves of sweet energy, different from others, coming out of him. Monter's pupils became smal and it rushed towards Midoriya family, not caring about anything else but its hunger for this energy. Hisashi meanwhile looked behind him, staring at the multiple eyes that were glowing with hunger. The only thing he could do before it kills him is throw Izuku from its way. Moments later, monster's claws slammed Izuku's parents at once, brutally ripping their higher bodies apart. Meanwhile Izuku hit the nearest tree and fell. Crying in pain, he looked at his parents... Or what remained of them. He froze, his pupils became very small, the tears flowed with renewed vigor. But he didn't have time, the monster looked at him and slowly approached the boy, sharpening its claws. It stopped right next to Izuku and grabbed him.
Little boy screamed, sharp claws dug into his neck. "No! Let go!" shouted Izuku, punching monsters' hand. The monster then easily lifted him and held him above his head. Suddenly sounds of breaking bones and ripping flesh sounded. Izuku looked under himself, trying in vain to get free. What he saw terrified him. Head, neck and torso of monster started to rip apart, opening lines of sharp teeth and fangs. Giant snake-like tongue emerged from there and wrapped Izuku tight. While the monster slowly lowered little boy in his mouth, Izuku could only think of his short happy life with his parents. He had only one tought before the inevitable. "Please... Somebody... Save me!" he screamed internally.
Then suddenly, a flash flashed nearby, and in one moment Izuku was free from the monsters' grip. Then he heard monster screaming in pain. Monster looking angrily at the one who freed little boy. Izuku himself looked at his saviour. It was a man, 176 cm tall. He was dressed in grey kimono. He had dark-brown standing hair, sharp facial features, narrow faint-blue eyes and a scar across his nose. He sat Izuku down behind him and gave him little head pats.
"Sit here for a while, kiddo." He said, while preparing his katana "And i recommend to close your eyes, things might be dirty from here."
Izuku didn't dare to close his eyes, wanting to see everything, while monster recovered from his wound and withouta warning lunged towards the newcomer. But the man was ready and kicked the monster, launching it away. Not giving a chance for monster, he raised his weapon above, it started to cover in grey-ish fire. The next scene remained in his memory forever. Katana suddenly started to lengthen fast. Metal began to deform like rubber, and the man unleashed his attack. At blinding speed the man started to cut the monster to pieces. The monster didn't last for long and started to burn and finally vanishing. The man exhaled and put his katana in the sheath. Meanwhile Izuku was astonished, millions of questions started to fill his head. Main 2 were "Who is this man?" and "How did he do that?". But all questions faded into the background, when he saw lifeless bodies of his parents. He quickly approached their higher bodies, shaking them.
"Mama, Papa! Wake up!" Izuku whispered, trying to wake his parents up. He was greeted by silence.
"They are gone." Izuku heard the voice from behind. He looked on his saviour, the man had sad look in his eyes. "I'm sorry that i didn't come sooner..."
Izuku looked at his parents with disbelief. They weren't dead, right? Just asleep, right?? The consequences of the day finally caught up, and Izuku collapsed. The man caught him right before he could hit the ground. Every other word the man said weren't heard.
