How Did It End

Summary:

Have you ever loved someone
And let it consume your soul in flames.

I about knocked myself out at work when I got the idea for this fic then had to furiously write and post it before I had to go stab people [with their consent; of course, I’m not a monster]

Title from the Taylor Swift song with that name because that’s what I was listening to when I wrote it and well; it’s quite fitting

Have you ever loved someone
And let it consume your soul in flames. 
That you would burn all you loved
Simply for the fact that you loved them more. 

I loved him; felt him in my soul 
and deep within my bones 
And when he left 
He left me behind 
Shattered and broken 
And stricken with grief 
And i want him back 
I need him back 

Have you ever lost someone 
And if you could 
If you could bring them back
Wouldn't you have tried?
And so i tried
For if i didn’t 
The cost would have been my soul.
