Chapter 1: Hobbies/ Interests

Chapter Text

There’s barely anything to go by considering he died as soon as he was introduced, but i tried my best to match him. I also think of Keicho as a busy bee, but in the few moments he has free time, he will engage in one of these interests

• One of the only things we can all agree on about Keicho is his interest in military and war. I wanna expand on this. He knows all about the intricacies of war machinery like firearms, tanks, helicopters, and explosives. Not just what types, but specifically when they were invented, how they evolved over the years, the war(s) they were used in, and by what country. He knows the full list of events in any given war. What country started it, why did it start, who won, how did they fight, what war crimes were committed, etc.

• One of the biggest reasons he’s into warfare is because he’s also into world history. From the ancient river civilizations to modern times, he knows it all. He’s most interested in European and Asian history.

• Something else that is linked to history is language and culture. He’s very knowledgeable about other cultures and knows a little bit of many languages. Again, he’s most interested in European and Asian culture and languages.

• He likes books. He’s not too much into tv or video games since he wants to conserve the electric bill, so he reads a lot of books from the library. Mostly non fiction about any of the topics listed above, but he will occasionally get into a sci-fi book. He usually likes sci fi with aliens and stuff like that. It’s just cool!

• He has an interest in lost and super obscure media. He prides himself in knowing extensively about something no one else does

• Metal head. He’s a death metal main for sure. He likes the head ache inducing types of death metal like slam and gore grind. I could see him being into some thrash metal too.

• He has a softer side to himself tho. Sometimes he listens to old school rock (Bad Company is his favorite).

• He smokes. Not like he’s addicted, he just needs some fumes for when he’s stressed. It makes the house smell horrible. Poor Okuyasu can’t stand it!

• Kinda a health nut. It kinda derives from his poverty mindset, but he doesn’t want him nor Okuyasu becoming fat and lazy. It would mean they aren’t working hard and thus money isn’t being made/ being wasted. So Keicho is strict when he buys food: ZERO snacks or pastries. “Put that down, Okuyasu! We don’t have money for that.” It’s a 700 yen snack. He drags Okuyasu to the gym regularly to make sure he’s staying in shape. “Health is important!” He says, but ignores all his other unhealthy habits like his smoking, overworking himself, and lack of sleep. Okuyasu is so over it.
