Work Text:
Daniel falls to his knees in front of Armand, tears spilling from his eyes. “Please,” he begs, as he grips Armand’s trousers tightly, “I need your blood.”
Armand stares down at him, his eyes cold and merciless, “You left me again…”
“I’m sorry,” Daniel cries, “I’m sorry. Please.”
“How many times are you going to do this?” Armand crouches down, caressing Daniel’s cheek, “You know only insanity awaits you out there without me.”
“I know,” Daniel cannot stop crying, “I’m sorry. Please.”
“You don’t seem to ‘know’ it,” Armand retracts his hand, “Otherwise you’d stop leaving.”
Daniel grasps his hand bringing it to his lips and kissing the palm, “I’m sorry,” he repeats, between kisses, “I am nothing without you. You are my world. You are my God.”
When Daniel’s teeth graze against the skin of Armand’s hand, Armand’s mouth twitches as he looks down at the human like a disgusting worm under his shoe. “You are pathetic when you are like this, my love.”
“You made me this way,” Daniel bites back, a fiery rage in his eyes, “You like it.”
Armand smiles, amused and proud, even on the edge of madness his boy is quick and snide. Of course he is right too—he loves watching his squirming desperation, the reminder of his love and devotion. “Perhaps I should deny you from that comment alone.”
Though it is a complete lie, Daniel’s eyes widen and he fervently kisses the parts of Armand’s hand he’d bitten, “I’m sorry, please, forgive me. I will do anything.”
Armand stands up straight, Daniel whines as his hand slips from his grasp, “Anything?”
Daniel nods intensely, “Anything.”
Armand hums in thought, “Kiss my feet.”
Immediately, Daniel bends over and brings his lips to Armand’s feet, his head bowed down as if in prayer.
“Rise,” Armand orders, already bored of the game, and Daniel stumbles to stand. Armand’s fingers graze over Daniel’s lips, they’re cracked and almost bleeding. “You haven’t been looking after yourself…”
“Only your blood can satiate me,” Daniel cries, “No drink nor drug can touch it.”
“Then feed, my beloved,” Armand speaks softly as he slits the side of his throat with his claw, “And in drinking my blood may we never part. I will remain in you as you remain in me.”
Daniel’s lips immediately attach onto Armand’s neck, gulping down Armand’s sweet, euphoric blood. One of Daniel’s hands grip onto the other side of his neck, as if desperately trying to devour the vampire whole. He drinks sloppily, his tongue sliding into the slit in his skin, and Armand has to hold back a moan.
When Daniel is finally pulled off his eyes are unfocused, “I won’t leave again, I promise. I promise, Armand.”
He leaves again a couple of weeks later. Armand knows he’ll welcome him back the second he returns.
