Work Header

Sillenta and Raven oneshots

Summary:

This was stretch to write because of how fast time goes in RP games but I made it work.

Notes:

I loved playing this with my friends and writing it was fun but this might turn into an orphaned work of mine. But I hope you enjoy it while it lasts!

Chapter Text

Child services.
A Roblox RP in “Lifetogether RP”

Sillenta had recently lost her husband and her daughter, Raven, was turning 16 soon. Sill was sitting outside and relaxing while Raven got ready for school.

Raven popped her head out the backdoor.

“Mom, I’m going to school.” She yelled to her mother.

“Okay, be safe sweetheart!” Sill shouted back to her. Raven left as Sillenta got a call from child services.

“Hello?” She answered.

“Hello ma’am, this is your local child services. It has been brought to our attention that you have been hurting yourself and we have decided that your daughter isn’t safe in your home. You have forty-eight hours to either turn yourself in or hand your daughter over to us.” The operator said. Sill’s eyes were wide with anger.

“I will not be handing her to you, nor turning myself in. I demand to know who reported me and on what date. I hurt myself for a few months last year but I’ve stopped since.” Sillenta said.

“A man named Lloyd Overpaw reported you about a week ago.” The man said. Sillenta thought back to the last time she’d seen Lloyd. Her husband hadn’t visited her in years.

“I haven’t seen him in years. He hasn’t talked to me in even longer.” Sillenta told him. The operator was silent for a moment.

“Please hold ma’am.” He said. The hold music played as Sillenta panicked.

How did he know I was hurting myself? I cut my forearm and Raven didn’t even notice.

~Hours Later~

Sillenta was waiting for the operator to pick up when she got a text from Raven.

“Mom, can I stay after school for a project?” It read. Sillenta considered it for a moment and agreed that she could as long as she was home by 7:30.

The operator picked up again. “Sorry for the wait ma’am. If you’ve hurt yourself in the past we still think your daughter still needs a different caretaker.”

“I am her mother. She needs no other parent than me.” Sillenta said angrily.

She hung up and went inside to make dinner. Her eye caught a picture of Lloyd sitting on the windowsill. She walked over and picked it up. Her hands shaky, she threw the picture on the floor and the glass shattered. She stepped on the frame and went to get the broom. “That’s what you deserve. You deserve death. And even though I can’t give it to you, I can frickin’ try.” She told herself.

As she swept up the glass shards she thought about how Raven had grown up with that devil of a man. How she shared the same blood as him. That thought was what made her hurt herself.

She picked up a piece of glass and cut her ring finger. She dropped the glass and kept sweeping the glass shards. She threw them away and got back to cooking.

Raven got home just before dinner was done and Sillenta was outside. Raven peeked at her then turned to a friend that she’d brought home without her mother’s consent.

“I think I can sneak you upstairs. Come on.” Raven said as she rushed upstairs with her friend. When they got to her room, Raven shut the door and locked it.

“Are you sure she can’t get in?” Raven’s friend, Sage, asked.

Raven nodded and pulled her onto her bed. Sage sat with Raven and hugged her arm. Raven wrapped her legs between Sage’s and hugged her tight. Sage kissed Raven’s cheek. Raven was surprised but copied her girlfriend closer to her lips. Sage looked shocked and smiled confused at why she liked it.

Sillenta decided to go check on dinner and see if Raven was home yet. She saw the front door open and knew Raven was home. She went upstairs and saw her door closed. Then she heard something.

“Raven?” Sillenta knocked on her door. She heard Raven fall off of her bed and stumble to the door. When she opened it she was wearing minimal clothing and her hair was as tangled as a rat’s nest.

“What’s up?” Raven asked.

“Dinner’s ready. I heard something coming from your room. Do mind telling me what that might be?” Sill asked.

“Uhh. I was- uhm- napping.” Raven stuttered. Sillenta looked at her confusedly but nodded.

“Well, come down when you’re ready to eat.” Sillenta said. Raven nodded and closed the door. Sill went back downstairs and came to the kitchen to a steaming pot of chicken soup. She smelled it before she saw it and it melted her senses.

That night she ate alone. Raven wouldn’t come out of her room for anything and refused food when Sillenta tried to feed her.

“Raven, you need to eat.” Sillenta willed her to eat something, anything, that had nutrients of any kind.

“I’m not hungry, mom.” She said from behind her closed door. Sillenta walked down the hall into her room and closed the door.

“Maybe I’m not good enough. Maybe she hates me. Maybe she’s fasting because of mean girls at school.” She kept telling herself. She heard the strange noise again. “Or maybe she’s hiding something.” Sillenta got up and went back to Raven’s door but didn’t knock or make any noises.

“Shh. Mom might hear you, baby.” Raven said quietly. Sillenta heard a giggle that sounded way too flirtatious for her liking and opened the door. What she saw shocked her.

She saw her daughter with a girl, in her bed, kissing each other. Sillenta gave a surprised laugh and turned.

“Mom!” Raven shouted. The girl hid her face with the covers. Sillenta left the room and went downstairs to the living room to process what she just saw.

A few minutes later Raven came down with a hoodie and sweatpants on and sat across from her mother. “Do you hate me?” Raven asked.

“No. I don’t hate you. I was just surprised. You never told me before and though I’m completely fine with it, I would’ve liked to have known earlier.” Sillenta explained.

“Can Sage stay?” Raven asked. Sillenta smiled.

“Is that her name? Of course she can. She seems like a nice girl.” Sillenta let out a chuckle and Raven hid her face. Sage came down and sat by Raven. They held each other’s hands and Sillenta smiled at the two girls. “You two are adorable.”

“Mom, please stop.” Raven said, red in the face out of embarrassment. Sage hid her face with her hair and excused herself to go home.

“Honestly, Raven. I was gay, too. In highschool I dated this girl who was my entire world until she dumped me at the end of junior year.” Sillenta told Raven.

“I did not need to know that, mom.” Raven said.

“Well, it’s time for bed anyways. Goodnight, Raven.” Sillenta said.

“Goodnight, mom.” Raven said as she made her way to her room.

“Well she was hiding a girl all this time. I am a good mother after all.” Sillenta reassured herself. She went to sleep that night knowing that she could take care of her daughter without anyone else. Child services wouldn’t be a problem in the morning.
