"Peter! I think I found it!" Hermione called excitedly.
Peter came from behind the book case he had been searching. They were in the Hale Vault looking for a book Peter thought was stored there.
Hermione held up a book with a drab orange cover but no writing. "I think this is just what I need!"
"May I?" Peter held out a hand.
Hermione handed him the book. Peter opened the front cover and turned a few pages. "Yes, I do think this is what you are looking for." He handed the book back to her.
"You're sure it's all right to take this back to the Den?" Hermione asked, biting her lip.
Peter nodded. "Keep it in your room, that will keep just about everyone else away from it. Not that most of them could read it."
"I'm still fascinated to see how close the Ancient Latin that is used in books like this one is to the spells in the books I used in Hogwarts," Hermione said carefully paging through the fragile text.
"Once you publish your research, I suspect there will be a lot of surprised people," Peter grinned.
