Marvin and Whizzer sat in the noisy stands of a ball game. It was a nice spring day, the sun was warming Marvin's skin. Everyone was asked to stand for the national anthem, Marvin could hear the singer's voice ring out through the stands. "Oh say can you see, by the dawns early light?". The person who was singing had a beautiful voice, but thats not what Marvin was focused on. He looked over at Whizzer, he went for a more casual look today. Dawning a leather jacket with a nice pink shirt underneath. God, it's been a long time since Marvin's seen the man, and to be honest, he missed him.
Snapping back to reality, he sat down with everyone as the anthem ended. He leaned over to Whizzer, saying, "Are you really sure you want to come here?". The taller man smiles at him. "I'm sure of it." he replies. Marvin takes one last glance of Whizzer's outfit then looks down at his own clothes. He asked Charlotte and Cordelia for help, not wanting to make a fool out of himself. Life is funny, it's not like this is new to him or Whizzer. But, he still wanted to look nice for this, even if it meant asking his friends for fashion advice. Whizzer speaks up, trying to clear the silence, "I want the underdog to win." Marvin's taken off gaurd, lookong over at Whizzer he replies, "That's not our team, so just be quiet." "Well then, go other team!" Whizzer cheered.
Marvin scoffs and looks back to the field. He'd rather be anywhere other than some ball game, but this is what Whizzer wanted. Hell, over the past two years, he'd found himself missing Whizzer, which, to say the least, was weird. He had tried to date other men, but it was just different with Whizzer. So far, the date was going fine until the people behind them started throwing popcorn at them. "Why are people hitting us? Stop it, stop it, stop it!" Marvin exclaimed. He had an inkling as to what the reasoning was behind these actions, but he didn't feel like getting into a fight today. Sneakily, Whizzer snuck his hand into Marvin's giving it a soft squeeze. Marvin felt his cheeks grow red, he had missed this feeling so much.
