Summary:

A series of pieces and drabbles telling the story of Nettles in the House of the Dragon universe, since they decided to cut her from the series. There will be 12 pieces telling the story, from her birth and to her fate after the end of the war, done by me and Ace.

Chapter 1: Daemon & Ivy

Chapter Text

There were rumours Prince Daemon Targaryen had taken a lover when fighting in the Stepstones. The beautiful healer called Ivy had caught his attention as she tended to his many injuries and held it as the only one in the camp not to fear him or his dragon.

With the war over, he took her to fly. The Blood Wyrm was a fierce creature, but she braved it.
One day, they flew away, the rogue prince with his makeshift crown to gift his king brother. He had no idea he left his lover with a little dragon of her own.

Chapter 2: The Wooden Toy

Hello! This is the second instalment of the series, with the art done with my collaborator artist friend Ace on twitter. I put their account link under the art if you want to give it a like and a follow, they do amazing ASOIAF pieces.

I decided to write a drabble for each piece! And yes, I am using a word counter. A drabble is exactly 100 words, no more no less :)

Chapter Text

The small dragon grew inside her stomach as the days flew by. Driftmark was dull compared to her old home, but it had been time for a change. She was a new woman now, keen on having adventures and the child she carried would be her biggest one yet. 

Her fleeting time with the prince was gone and so was he. He had flown away and she left the cemetery they called the battlefield. No more death, she was looking forward to a new cycle. 

Close to giving birth, she carved her baby's nature in wood. 
Her own little dragon.
