“Hey..We’re back..” A familiar voice coughed.
Yuu had been sitting in Ramshackle with the rest of the dorm leaders discussing housewarden things when the front door to the door opened and multiple footsteps trudged through the hall towards the common room.
“Finally! What took you so long!?” She yelled.
“Oh thank the seven you’re all back!” Vil sighed in relief as he got up and went to run towards the teens, “Epel-!” Vil paused when the five of them made way through the archway into the common room.
Everyone’s eyes widened in shock.
“What in the bloody- Ace, Deuce! Where have you been?!”
“Uh..well..” Deuce mumbled with, essentially, a fancy iron bucket over his head.
“Yeah! Where have you been?! It’s been two weeks and you didn’t even bring me the bread I asked you to!” The raven-haired girl scolded as she stood up, “Sit.” She commanded, pointing down to the floor; the five complied and sat on the floor- even Sebek!
“How fucking hard is it to bring bread back?!” She yelled.
“Ah- huh?!” Everyone exclaimed in disbelief.
Kalim was the first one to speak up, “Yuu- they’ve been gone for two weeks! And that’s the first thing you say to them?! Look at them! They look beat up all to hell!”
“And?? I asked them to bring me a loaf of bread! And they didn’t! That’s the one thing I thought I could trust them with!” She argued.
“I can’t get the helmet off..someone help.” Deuce mumbled as he tried pulling the helm off which Riddle attempted to help with.
Sebek inhaled sharply, “Look, human-” Yuu shot a glare at him, “..Yuu.. Uhm..We have a very good explanation for this!”
The four of them nodded vigorously in agreeance.
Vil and Leona raised their eyebrows.
“Oh? And what would that be that you disappear for two weeks and reappear looking like..that.”
Yuu crossed her arms, “Yeah, that better be one hell of an excuse for me to pardon you from not bringing me my bread back.”
Ace took a deep breath, “Long story short we- I- saw a portal, my intrusive thoughts got the better of me and I decided to go through it, they followed and we fought a god and basically won.” He summarized.
“You..what?!” Riddle exclaimed in disbelief, his ahoge standing on end.
“Hm, so that's what that colourful ripple in the sky was yesterday.” Malleus hummed with a hand to his chin.
“Not good enough excuse! I sent you five out to get me bread and I meant it! Now go get me my loaf of bread!” She yelled.
“They just fought a god and that's what you’re concerned about?!” Kalim and Vil shouted at the ravenette in disbelief.
“No, no- What happened between after you went through the portal and to fighting a god.” Idia chimed in.
“Well, if you must know-”
“Get my damn loaf of bread I sent you out to get!”
“.... Right, we’ll get right on that." He clapped his hands together, "AnYwAyS! So, this is what happened..”
