little bit of a "sequel" piece to filling my head with you but with the roles reversed :P

Work Text:

Kiryu had wanted to pay back Majima for that wonderful night of trance - and he'd thought, what better way than to see if he could pick up the skill for himself?
Majima was a bit hesitant to accept, initially - his state of mind was already more sensitive than that of the average person, all things considered, and he wasn't sure he could trust himself to really snap back if he needed to.
"We don't have to do anything sexual," were the magic words, given that was really his biggest worry. His experiences being hypnotised didn't run very deep, but they weren't all so pleasant... He didn't want to think what might - or, realistically probably would - happen if he threw sex into the mix.
So, they had laid out their plan, with Kiryu getting to work on learning everything he could.

When the night arrived, Majima tried not to be too high-strung. That would only hurt his chances of enjoying the experience - and Kiryu's confidence, probably.
Kiryu's first request had been simple, just to sit comfortably for him. Easy enough to oblige.
"Now... Can you take a deep breath in?"
Majima scoffed playfully, an effort to calm himself, "Dunno, hypnotist-san, can I?"
"Goro," Kiryu said in gentle reassurance, "I can't do anything you won't let me do. You know that, right?"
He faltered, "O-of course."

"Do you feel you can trust me?"
He nodded, "Without a doubt."
"Then... will you take a deep breath in for me?"
"So fuckin' sweet," Majima mumbled, but obliged.
"Good," Kiryu nodded, "Close your eye, and just let your mind fill with calm."
Already, it was clear how much Kiryu had learned. His tone was smooth and gentle - already easy to get lost in, but now...
"And out... just feeling any stress fade away."

Now it was going to be a whole other beast.
He relaxed his shoulders slightly as he breathed out, waiting for Kiryu to set the rhythm.
"And in again... feel the calm..."
In...
"Out... stress fading away."
Out...
In, and out... Calming, and relaxing. Yes... this might not end up being so bad.

"Now, then... Picture yourself in an elevator."
Majima snorted quietly to himself, wondering if he should picture jizz stains too, but couldn't will himself to break his concentration.
"It's a nice elevator, isn't it? Deep, rich wood... the metal panelling all well-polished. Someone really cares about this elevator."
"Yeah?" he asked, quietly and not entirely consciously.
"Mhm. It was built just for you, after all, to take you so deep."

When Majima tranced others, he much preferred the quick approach. This slow, imaginative leadup just wasn't his style - he wanted to get to the good part, see the other person lose themself in a snap.
But hot damn, maybe Kiryu could pull it off.
"You're on floor ten right now. So high up, still... you want to be at the bottom, don't you?"
He softly grunted.
"That's it... the elevator starts moving, slowly and gently. The rumble is helping you relax a little bit more, isn't it? Shaking out your tension..."

His body eased a little more, the edges of his mind blurring.
"It feels nice, doesn't it? So nice to relax. To not have to worry about your thoughts."
He focussed on the mental image of the elevator buttons in front of him. Each one was lit in a different spectacular colour - not that Kiryu had said that, or that it was particularly accurate, he'd just sort of filled in the blanks - and would probably feel nice and smooth under his fingers. Yeah...
"And with each floor you get to, it'll become even easier to relax."
He sort of wondered what might be on each of these floors. Boring offices? No... something fun. It was his elevator... his building.

"You've reached floor nine," Kiryu announced, "You feel a little lighter already, don't you?"
Yeah... yeah, he did. He wondered if this was how stuffed animals would feel, with polyfill in their heads.
"Your thoughts are like balloons on strings... if you let them go, who knows how far up they'll float?"
He could picture it already, himself walking on clouds, letting go and watching his balloons ascend even to the stars... What constellations would they touch? What if he could reach the stars himself?
"Just relaxing... just feeling good."
He drew himself back to the elevator, running his hand down the wall. So pretty...

"Floor eight... you're doing so good."
Majima shuddered slightly, before relaxing further. So good, so good... his thoughts didn't have to be anything. His mind didn't have to be anything. He could just let the waves take him wherever they pleased.
"You've already let go of some of your thoughts, haven't you? Those balloons are just floating up, up, up..."
There was a pleasant gap in his mind, he could feel it. Nothing had to belong there... it could just be.
"Let your mind be like the clouds."
He imagined them enveloping him, a bed more comfortable than anything else in the world...

"Floor seven, now..."
He was losing focus on Kiryu's words. At any other time he'd curse himself for his faulty hearing, try even harder to listen, but... he didn't have it in him.
He didn't need all the words, anyway. Kiryu's voice alone was soothing, wrapping him up and carrying him along the winds.
"...feeling soft... happy."
He slouched forward, hanging on the words he could make out.

"...six..."
He felt so, so good... he was in the clouds, in the waves. The elevator was softly rumbling around him... he was touching the stars.
"...no thoughts..."
His mind was everywhere, and nowhere, all at once.
"...so light..."
The clouds that had overtaken his mind were comfortable, his view itself blurring in front of him. He couldn't hold focus on any of it...

"...five..."
He was so, so comfortable... just breathing slowly, relaxing, falling, sinking with the numbers...
Kiryu's voice was all that he needed - guiding him to a deep, happy space, letting him float freely.
"...doing so good."
Yeah... it felt so good to do so good... to let his mind empty out, the little bits left simply wandering, meandering, until they too fizzled away.
He felt warm and comfortable, losing himself like this.

"...four..."
He was just a step away from the depths. He could feel it, he... it was so soft... he could just... he could just...

Majima rubbed his eye groggily with a yawn - and Kiryu in front of him breathed a sigh of relief.
"Oh, good... you're awake now."
He grunted, "Mmnh."
"Sorry, uh... I guess I bored you to sleep."
Majima snorted, "C'mon, don't be so hard..."
Kiryu shook his head, "But it's true. I mean... I don't know when exactly you fell asleep, and I tried to keep going until I was certain, but-"

"Ya know how fuckin' hard it is for me to get a wink, don'tcha?"
"Well..." Kiryu nodded, "Yeah."
Majima shook his head, stretching, "Ya gotta feel honoured, then, 'cause that was the best fuckin' sleep I've had in a long while."
"Really...?"
"Wouldn't lie, would I?" he chuckled, "Just goes to show how much I needed it."

Kiryu smiled a little, "I guess so..."
"'Sides," Majima yawned again, "Still ain't feelin' all awake... if it ain't too late, we could try again."
"Well, we've only been about 25 minutes..."
Majima clapped, "Then I'm all yers, hypnotist-san!"
Kiryu shook his head with a chuckle, guiding Majima once again...

Notes:

hello trance-prone readers. i'm sorry i lead you on and didn't let you finish. why don't you just sleep? ;P
...did that work on anyone? no? alright, alright :D

i had fun writing kiryu's dialogue here even if this kind of trance isn't usually my style. (like majima, i want the quick approach!! i get frustrated with long-winded descriptions and imagery... or i just fall asleep, lol.)
