Leshy and The Lamb

Summary:

This work depicts a bit of Leshy and The Lamb's fight. It was initially a short story for a small school thing, but I thought it'd be fun to share lol. (It is very short, we got 500 word limit)

Notes:

For shits n giggles.

Work Text:

Footsteps could be heard patting along the cold stone floor as the Lamb strode into the entrance room of the first Bishop’s temple. The entrance seemed a bit worn down, moss patches all over the place. It didn’t look as tidy as he had expected, but that was beside the point. His God had tasked him with the destruction of the Bishops of the Old Faith, in order for him to wear his crown once more, so that is what he would focus on. That first temple the Lamb came across was Leshy’s.

The Lamb readied his axe, and swung at the statue. The doorway opened and as he slowed down a bit, observing the inside, he noticed Leshy himself standing in the room, surrounded by his followers. Leshy was the Bishop of Chaos, and youngest and least powerful of the Bishops. His appearance was not unlike a big worm covered in leaves and a robe, and a large portion of his face was covered with a cloth.

“I grow tired of you, little Lamb…” Leshy screeched, “Time to put an end to this frivolous masquerade!”

His five Disciples then all took out their daggers, and pushed the blade into their chests. Blood dripped down their blades, as Leshy absorbed the essence and devotion of their souls. They fell down, and their life left their bodies. Leshy twitched, and then his body swelled and increased greatly in size, his clothes tearing and landing on the floor. The rest of his followers were torn to shreds as his power expanded.

Leshy took a small moment, then he roared, and attacked. He dug himself underground, pushing towards the Lamb location, sending up hundreds of wooden spikes as he went. The Lamb rolled to the side, barely avoiding being impaled and ending up like a shishkebab.

As soon as Leshy came back up he retaliated, swinging his axe with all his might. Leshy twitched, and soon acid was shooting out of his morbid mouth, melting away almost everything within reach. The Lamb had, yet again, been able to evade his attacks. Leshy dug himself underground, and came up a small bit to the side. He shrieked, and sent those spikes every which way. The Lamb shot backwards in an attempt to dodge, but he was hit.

He cursed, and gripped his arm. He needed to end this quickly.

Before he could do much, however, Leshy jumped up to the ceiling, and the Lamb could no longer see him. It didn’t take long for him to sense Leshy’s enormous body jumping back down, though. But this time he was prepared.

The lamb jumped back as Leshy landed and tried to chomp him up. He casted Hounds of Fate, and then swung his axe once more, putting an end to the fight.

Leshy’s body split open, revealing his heart. The Lamb reached for it, and pulled.

Yes, this would definitely come in handy.
