It actually occurs to anyone who’s falling in love, to risk everything they had, Even if they lose their self in the process of loving them or if the person left them
But not this person
Deanna didn't want things to fall apart but, it just happened
Deanna was lost in the void when she met Serena
Serena is a walking sunshine, a warm and soft person.
She’s aware that many people would fall for serena in just a smile
A smile that could cure a wounded heart
A smile that can calm a weary heart
A smile that is so contagious, you’ll see yourself smiling
“Deanna? Are you there?” I heard Serena’s voice outside
She greeted me with her warm smile and hug when i opened the door
I flinched for a second because of the sudden skinship, I'm used to this kind of stuff but serena gives of the feeling of warm and soothing soul than can make anyone melt
“Hi deanna! I bought choco pies and ice cream” she said with a cheeky smile and enthusiastic voice
I must’ve admit, Serena’s kinda grew on me, we explore and learn new things as days, months pass by
“Nice! Come on in!” i stepped aside to let her come in, She hopped like a little kid while going to the couch
She may be a grown ass woman but deep inside, she’s just a five years old in a body of an adult
“What are we watching, deanna?” She asked while putting the food in a bowl
She’s always like this, loves to take care of people that she loves, even in the smallest things, she would love to help out
“I don’t know, since you’re the one who bought the foods, You choose” i said and put the remote at the coffee table
I kept seeing her ig stories about tangled or any edits from the clock app about tangled
There’s a part of me that i wanna learn how to love her
But there’s also a part of me that i would never memorize this road that we’ve been taking
My mind kept coming back on the corner — where taylor and i met
And where we broke up, it was on the same corner
Serena’s eyes sparkle with happiness
“Really? You’ll let me choose a movie?” She asked, she’s surprised with the sudden action
“Yep! C’mon! I know your taste won’t disappoint me” i said while looking at her, lifting the tray up
I chuckled when she couldn’t lift the tray due to the heavy bowls and glasses
I stood up and walked towards her
“You should go sit there and I'll handle this, if you can’t carry things, ask for my help, Okay?” I said while her head is down
I know she felt bad because she can’t do that
Her smile dropped immediately
My heart ache with her sadness, i can’t let this girl be sad or upset
“Hey, don’t cry. It’s okay if you can’t help, you’re doing great as always, serena” I said and cupped her cheeks and hugged her head
She nodded while sobbing and walked towards the sofa, I chuckled a bit. She’s a cry baby but i don’t mind dealing with it
But i hope
I hope her future lover won’t get tired on her being the affectionate baby herself
She doesn’t deserve me
Not because of me
But because of my past
She doesn’t deserve a half hearted nor one sided love
I kept thinking of this things while looking at her, from the kitchen
She deserves a kind and warm love.
I shrugged this things off and walked towards her
Looking at her being giddy while choosing what we're going to much makes my heart burst into happiness
I am sure
She doesn’t deserve me.
I stood up and went towards my room and grabbed a few stuff toys that serena loves and a blanket that she said i should use it coz’ it’s fluffy and comfortable
I went out of my room after grabbing handful of things that serena uses whenever she’s here
“What’s that?” She asked with a mouth full of food
I gestured her to not talk and swallow first before talking, she raised her hand and i understood what she meant
“Right, sorry. Uhm what is that again?” She asked me again and i put the things on the couch that we made, Its like bed type of couch sort of
“Your fave stuff toy that you kept hugging whenever you're here, the blanket that you said to be comfortable and fluffy and also some keyrings that i won last time on the arcade” i said while lifting the things that i brought
Her eyes shines like a star
Her eyes can hold a whole galaxy
it would still shine, with her eyes alone
even the brightest star would envy her because of the warmth and glow that she gave
“Aahhhh you got the shiba keyring?” She asked and i nodded
“But how? I spent 12,000 won just to get those but i lost patience” sana said while toying the keyring
Truth to be told, i just asked if i could buy them even if the price is doubled
“Ah i just went out for the chain and i got it” i said and sat next to her
She automatically leaned on my shoulder and my arms went autopilot and it went on her shoulder
She grabbed the blankets and covered herself with it and she did to me also, she picked up the shiba keyring and played it again
I’ll take a good guess that this baby didn’t understand why did i show her the key ring that she thought i got it by luck
“I wished i could get this like you do” she put down the shiba key ring and played elemental and her eyes are focussed on the film
I knew it, she didn’t get the hint on why did i bring those
“Why did you put it down” i asked playing dumb

“That’s yours” we both said at the same time
The confusion can be seen her eyes
“Wait, this is mine?” she asked and she suddenly paused the movie and sat like a kid
She picked it up and stare at it like it was a treasure that was buried thousands of years ago
“Are you serious? no take backs?” she said while squeezing the plushie out
“I’m dead serious, it's yours. I got it for you” i said while adoring her features
A sudden squeal came out of her mouth and she hugged me suddenly
“Thank you thank you deannaaa” she hugged my waist tight for a second and removed the hug immediately
I ruffled her hair and she leaned again on my shoulder, she picked up the remote and played the movie again
She’s toying the keyring and watching the movie same time
It’s cute to be honest, i’ve never seen a grown ass woman getting giddy towards a shiba key ring
30 minutes into movie and i noticed serena’s breathing, it's getting deep and the shiba keyring is already at the floor
I put some pillow on my lap and beside her, i fixed her sleeping position and put her head on my lap so her neck doesn’t hurt when she wakes up
I slipped some pillow on my backrest and i tried to sleep but i couldn’t so i continued watching the movie
My legs are getting numb, but I don't mind, as long as Serena is comfortable.
Deanna fell asleep in the middle of the movie while her hands are in serena’s head
The two are in deep sleep when suddenly Jeo and Chico barged into Deanna’s apartment only to find out that serena is sleeping in deanna’s lap, who’s also sleeping too
They left the flat quietly and locked it and didn’t say anything about them
Serena woke up and realized that she fell asleep while watching the movie and somehow, deanna fell asleep also
Serena looked at deanna with love and adoration
“I don’t mind losing myself, as long as it's you, deanna” serena muttered under her breath
She stood up gently and covered deanna’s lap with the blanket that she used
She went to the kitchen to cook something for deanna, she knows the girl won’t cook
After done cooking, she wrote something on a post-it note and put it on a fridge
She also filled ahri’s automatic food dispenser and play with him before she left the latter’s flat
She looked at deanna again, a realization crept into her mind, she knows that it’s gonna hurt her but she wanted to risk it
She heard deanna saying something, she went closer and she heard taylor’s name
She tried not to cry and walked through the door while wiping her tears
She closed the door and went down to the parking lot and drove home
She went inside her house and put the keyring in her stuff toy shrine and she took a shower and change her clothes in a shiba inu onesie and slumped on her bed
A tear escaped from serena’s eye
She’s aware of the risk that she’s taking
But the pain
Its vulnerable, she knows she couldn’t do anything if deanna didn’t choose her
The only thing she could do is to move forward and accept things
She falls asleep while thinking about it
I woke up having no serena in my lap, i can sense that she already left my flat
I saw ahri sleeping peacefully, i mentally slapped myself for forgetting to fill ahri’s feeder but i saw the food indicator, it’s still full
Serena.
She filled these up while i’m sleeping
I walked towards to the kitchen to have something to drink
I saw a purple post it notes
I’m sorry for sleeping in while watching elemental and to make it up, i cooked a food for you and i already filled ahri’s dispenser, reheat the food if you’re hungry, and the choco pies are in the fridge

I took the post it noted and went in to my room, I usually fold this kind of notes but i wanted to put this on my board
She loves me and and she also loves my dog
After I pinned the note, I went out of my room to see what did she cooked for me
Braised pork with Kimchi.
She knows how to cook this one and i grabbed a spoon to taste and oh my god, it tastes so good
I check to see of there’s any rice, and she also cooked some rice
I’ll thank her later, after i eat
Deanna is quietly eating her food, savoring Serena’s home cooked food.
It took her 30 minutes to finished eating and she’s so full in just one serving
She fished out her phone from her pocket and tapped their conversation
[Deanna]:
Hi serena! Thank you for cooking food for me and filling up ahri’s dispenser, i forgot to fill those out
[Serena]:
Ah, No problem, it's my way of apologizing for sleeping in while watching movie
[Deanna]:
I have no problems with those
[Deanna]:
Serena?
[Serena]:
Hm?
[Deanna]:
Are you busy tomorrow?
[Serena]:
Nope, not at all. Why?
[Deanna]:
Can you meet me at this place? [Redacted] 3:30pm?
[Serena]:
Sure, i’ll see you tomorrow

Deanna turned off her phone and washed the plates that she used
After washing the plates, she went straight to her room and plumped on her bed
She’s been thinking about this lately
Serena deserves so much better
She wants the better person for serena
She loves serena but she can’t force her heart to love her like she loves taylor
God knows how she tried to love serena more than taylor
But then again, it has no hope
She fell asleep thinking how is it going to end tomorrow
She hates when the girl breaks but she has to do this
Its for serena’s sake
Morning came and she woke up with a weary heart, got up to take a bath. She’ll be fetching serena
She know this won’t end well, she just wanted to ensure serena’s safety
Meanwhile serena….
Serena woke up to her alarm, she remembered that she have to meet deanna later this afternoon
She already prepared her heart
She knows what was going to happen
Her mind can’t think of any stuff
Her mind is like an empty space of thoughts
Her thinking session was cut off, her doorbell rang
“Who on earth would visit me in a mid day of thursday” she said while walking out of her room
She looked at monitor beside her door

She looked at herself and she’s wearing a shiba inu onesie
“Damn, i look so dumb right now but who cares” she uttered under her breath
She opened the door and she saw deanna with flowers on her hand and food
“Deanna? Why are you here? I thought we’ll meet at the coffee shop?” serena said while looking around
Deanna looked at serena and chuckled at the girl
“Ah i just thought that we should talk here at your house, its much comfortable and i don’t want you to get stressed with the time” deanna said with a cheeky smile
Serena smiled with that thought
She stepped aside and and gestured deanna to enter her house
Deanna walked inside and went straight to the kitchen to put down the foods that she bought for serena
She saw some plates and and a tray and she uses them to bring the food at the
Coffee table in the living room
Deanna sat at the couch waiting for serena to come out of her room
Serena came out of her room in a decent clothes, not in a shiba inu onesie
Deanna chuckled when she saw a flustered
“Why are you flustered? Shiba inu onesie looks cute on you" deanna said while trying not to laugh
“Deanna! That’s embarrassing" serena covered her face with her
" Hahaha come here, sit beside me. I have something to say” deanna said and tapped at the space beside her
Serena nodded and walked beside deanna
She knows what’s gonna happen
She knows but she didn’t prepare herself
She didn’t know that it would happen this fast.
“Serena, i’m sorry” deanna said trying not to cry in front of serena
“I know, deanna" serena said and heaved a sigh
“What?" Deanna said with confusion in her eyes
" Mhm, i saw it coming and it’s just, I didn’t prepared myself for this day” serena smiled at deana
"Still her?” Serena asked deanna
" I’m sorry serena” deana said and covered her face with her hands
" Come on, answer me. I promise this is gonna be worth it" serena said while toying the hem of her shirt
Deana sighed and answered
“Yes, everytime i tried to look at you differently-" deana was cut by serena’s words
“Is it her that you remembered? Am I right?" Serena said that made deanna nodded in agreement
" I know, deanna, You were murmuring taylor’s name the day that we watched a movie, Before i left your apartment, I heard you and i realized that you haven’t moved on from her, i’m sorry for trying to be in your life-”
Deanna stopped her with a hug
" Don’t be sorry for the things that you did, I actually appreciate that you did those, I'm also thankful that you existed in my life, I’m sorry if i can’t or i won’t be able to memorize the road that we’ve been taking, i’m still running on the road that taylor and i went” deanna said and wiped the tears that serena’s been keeping
Deana have a soft spot for serena, ever since they met, her heart created a spot for serena that no one could ever replace, but it's not the same spot that where taylor was
“Thank you, deanna”
"No, thank you, serena"
Deanna stood up and walked to the door
“I hope you find someone who loves you the way you love me, serena"
Serena walked to her room that made Deanna stopped from going out
Serena grabbed the note that she wrote for deanna and walked out of her room
She went to deanna and gave her the note
"Here, Read this when you get home” Serena gave the note
Deanna fished a note on her pocket
“I’ve got one for you too, read this after i left your place” deanna said while looking at serena
" So I guess I'll leave? It's great being with you serene" deanna said while holding the door handle
" Yeah, take care on your way home, deanna, I’ll see you, When i do” serena gave a weak smile
Deanna closed the door and left serene there alone and heart broken
Serena went her room and lay down to processed what happened earlier
Meanwhile
Deanna went home safe and sound and laid down on her bed also, thinking if the idea of making serene stop is worth it
They both remembered the note that they both gave to each other while laying on their own bed
Serene’s note to Deanna

Each of them symbolizes a time of the day wherein
Serene saw Deanna shine brighter than the moon.
In Serene’s eyes, there’s no light that can beat Deanna’s shine
In Serene’s eyes, She shines the most even on her darkest days
Deanna saw Serene’s warm and child-like love, Just like the sunset
In Deanna’s eyes, Serene’s eyes, laugh and even her existence can warm you up even in her most coldest days
In Deanna’s eyes, Serene’s way of taking care of her is like the sunset’s touching her skin on a late summer day. Her voice is like a symphony that can sings her to sleep
They both have their own ways to describe how they adore each other, But somehow
It is painful, But then again
It’s beautiful
Each other’s sunset and moon
Both leads to an end of the day
And hoping, at the end of the day
They would find the happiness that they both deserve.
