‘ I shouldn’t have said that. What was I even thinking?’ Katsuki thinks as he climbs the stairs up to the roof. ‘I’m not coming up here to check if the nerd is here, I’m just here to get some air and relax away from those damn extras.’
He clenches his fists as his own words come back to him. “Take a swan dive off the roof of the building and pray for a quirk in your next life!” He slams his eyes shut as the memory comes back forcefully. “Dammit. Why the fuck did I even say that? I don’t want him dead even though he’s useless.”
Sparks emit from his palms as his anger comes to the surface yet again. “That damn nerd.” Finally reaching the top of the steps Katsuki slams the door to the roof open.
His anger quickly recedes as fear and confusion forces its way to the front. “Deku?” His voice breaks as he sees his once childhood friend in front of him on the edge of the building.
“Kac…chan?” The nerd turns towards him, moving closer to the edge. His face turns to horror, then nervousness. “It-It’s not what it looks like! What are you doing here?”
Katsuki doesn’t know what to think as he looks at the green haired teen before him. ‘ No. Why? He wasn’t? Was he? WHY’ He stutters as he tries to form words. “Why? What-why? YOU DAMN NERD! WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?!”
He looks at the other teen and flinches when he’s met with a hardened gaze. “You don’t get to ask that. I’m just following your advice aren’t I? So I’m finally going to do it and not have to bother anyone anymore. Go away. I don’t want you here.”
Katsuki’s anger boils to the surface. “ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? SO YOU’RE JUST GOING TO END IT ALL BECAUSE OF WHAT I SAID. WHAT THE FUCK YOU DAMN NERD!”
“Oh now you care. Now that you realize that your punching bag will be gone, you care about my safety. Fuck off.” He freezes as he finally realizes. “I…I didn’t mean it. I swear.”
The other teen stares at him, “I don’t care anymore. Goodbye Katsuki Bakugou .” He flinches at the pure venom coming from the other teen’s voice. His eyes widen as he sees him lean towards the edge more. “NO!” He puts his hands behind him as explosions come forth from his palms as his childhood friend tilts off the edge.
“IZUKU” He launches forward, reaching out to grab Izuku, but misses as the scrawny teen plummets to the streets below.
