Adopt me headcannons but mostly for the NPC's

- Either they all each have houses but not seen by the player, or they all live in their shops and stay in there 24/7.

- Since Archer and Elsa are one of the oldest NPC's I like to think they are also the oldest in the cast age-wise.

- Javier frequently goes to the hospital and that's how he met Nurse Knee.

- He would also be willing to infodump about toys and other things to literally any one who would listen and Nurse Knee was the only one who agreed to listen when Javier asked.

- (Based on dialogue with Elsa) Archer have either let Elsa have the permission to use the recipe for the ice cream, or Elsa stole the ice cream recipe from Archer and Archer doesn't know.

- Javier's biggest dream when he was a kid was to meet Santa Claus, and now he sees him on almost a daily basis and it almost drives him insane.

- Anna is an only child adopted by her current parents and constantly wishes she had a sibling (she just like me fr fr)

- (based on the first headcannon)Javier is the newest neighbor to move into the Neighborhood after Bethink left the toyshop.

- Nurse Knee is insanely ticklish, but he barely gets tickled. (good for him!!)

- Justin the grocery employee had a emo phase at some point. (Yes, this is based on his hair)

- Legit no one on the island knows where Bethink and Newfissy went, like literally no NPC knows where they are.

- " Dude at the Hospital is shooting his shot with a Nurse by explaining the entire existence of Toys Everybody pray for him rn

THE NURSE MOVED TO SIT NEXT TO HIM AND HES KICKING HIS FEET I CAN'T BELIEVE THE RIZZ ON THIS MAN. " literally Javier and Nurse Knee. (Based off Twitter thing)

- Nurse Knee have slept on one of the empty patient beds. (he just needs a nappy nap let him slep)

- Almost literally all of the NPCs on adoption island has went to the hospital, Even Santa.

- Now although I like the headcannon of Javier and Nurse Knee living together as roommates I feel like it would not happen. (but javier can have a personal healer at home if they were roomies🙏🙏)

- Sometimes if Javier isn't busy he would purposely make an excuse to go see Nurse Knee at the hospital and when Nurse Knee goes to see him Javier just wants to tell him about his day and possibly make a longer conversation.

- Javier would like Weighted Blankets.

- Coach Sylwia's parents accidently made her name Sylwia instead of Sylvia because one of them had a lisp and the other actually though the name was cute.

-  Kayleigh had A BUNCH of plushies during her childhood but then her parents said she was getting too old for them and they ended up giving them away but she kept some, She still thinks of them and who owns them now.

- Anna actually has one or two of Kayleigh's childhood plushies from a garage store, the owner said they got it from a family and Anna really likes the plushies and doesnt mind it was already owned, it makes it more special she says.

- Sir 'Woofington' is quite frequently accidentally treated like a dog due to his current appearance, he hated it so much but after some time he was tired of constantly getting rounded up just for a missunderstanding so it doesnt get to him as much, but he still gets weird looks from new civillians in adoption island, he would go all "What? Never seen a dog this classy before?" and that would instantly get them to whip their heads around.

- Pet trainer Shane is now frequently getting bit by the pets he teaches.

- Emma would shop at Sophie's clothing shop often, so much that she became a regular and became pretty good friends with Sophie as they would chat a little.

- Every Christmas, new years eve, or literally just a special event, The NPC's would gather along to either eat or hangout in one of their shops and talk about some stuff, the most visited is Chef Pepper's Pizzeria and he holds that as one of his most special achievements.

- Captain Arg and Captain Hambeard have arguements on who's the better Captain, Bonny has been caught in the crossfire once, it did not end well.

- Holly is known as the crazy cat lady in the NPC Neighborhood.

- for the 'Jokes' update, for the toys, Javier made the items, Cole came up with the colors, and Pet trainer Shane came up with the ideas for the joke items. (and this is my personal headcannon why they were near the light blub, they came up with the jokes update in their world/j)

- Brad Chad is a frequent visitor to the hospital due to sunburns.

- " i told you TO WEAR SUNSCREEN LOOK AT ALL THOSE SUNBURNS "

" Okay.. "(Doesnt wear sunscreen like ever)

- Pet Trainer Shane would order Pineapple on pizza just to spite Chef Pepper, Pepper chased Shane right out of the pizzeria.

- Javier has several mini 3D puzzles, and by several i mean that it takes up half of his work place since he doesnt have any other place to put them and it already filled like 10 shelves and everywhere you'd look there would be 3D puzzles.

Chapter Text

- At least ONE of the npc's have been chased by someone's pet i just know it, just not sure who.

- the npc's take turns babysitting Anna when she was younger (they still hang out with her now if she got permission from her parents.)

- Agent Ruhi can play the piano whilst Agent Jake can play the trumpet.

- The Agents play games when they arent busy.

- When Tom was in elementary school up to college he would cry when he got a terrible grade on a test, especially math and science.
(I needed to project sorry)

- Javier would definitely make hand-made gifts.

- Ross and Moss used to help manage people's gardens if they paid them. (They still do)

- Tom had a bunch of trophies before but had to leave them behind when he had to go to adoption island. (He nearly cried)

- Anna is really good at papercrafts, like, REALLY good at paper crafts.

- Shane used to bite people when he was a toddler.

- Some of the npc's move ALOT when they're asleep, like from sleeping with your head on the bed table, up to sleeping in the kitchen when you were sleeping in the bedroom.

- the rest just sleep like a log.

- Shane would definitely be that one neighbor who would snore so loud it keeps the next door neighbor awake.
