Larry wit da fam

Work Text:

Demi was showing his PAL, his BUDDY around as he felt prickles on his neck. Every time he glanced around, he saw a slight flicker of movement in the corner of eyes. His hand with two fingers (fly ahh hands) went to squeeze Larry's arm, alerting him to the music teacher’s distress. “Hey…I think we're being followed.” He muttered to his shorter friend.

Jerry, for his part, was just as surprised. “😱!?” …yeah, I'm not sure how he did that. Demi didn't seem to care that much, only giving him a weak smile.

Maybe, JUST maybe, choosing to go on a stroll in a forest with little to no reception wasn't the greatest idea Mister Demi's ever had. But he had been having Thoughts and such, so he wanted to get out for a while. Who better than Larry?

The forest was as silent as the dead. Demi’s hand squeezed his friend's.

A branch snapped behind them. Demi screamed, leaping onto the shorter man and bringing them both down. They tumbled into a pile, Demi kicking up a storm.

It would have been mad embarrassing, should he have been focusing on anything but his fear. However, Demi is a simple man. He panics, and he PANICS. His cries quieted down, as he realized that it…it was a squirrel. It blinked up at him, as he let out a “phew!”

“You scared me, little fella!” He smiled, offering an acorn that he had in his pocket. The s mammal snagged the NUT. ACORN!!! and darted into a bush. “Aha…Larry, look w-”

He glanced down to see he was sitting on Larry's chest. His eyes widened, as he scrambled off the gray man. “Oh dear! I'm so sorry!” He profusely apologized, helping him up.

Larry simply got up before raising his hands to the sky. He held that pose for several seconds, before turning and walking to his side like nothing happened. Demi weakly smiled at him, before they started to walk again.

Sasha was practically frothing at the mouth, clutching the dead marsupial in her claws. Her eyes glowed with rage. Somehow, some godforsaken way, those damn eagle sympathizers had summoned their little army of rodents.

Well, she dealt with one already. She'll take on two, four, hundreds. She'll burn everything if she could get the chance to take these scumbags down. She waited until they started to walk again to stalk them. She'll wear them down soon enough.

Demi was exhausted, but also he's a pussy so he hadn't said anything. Larry had not broken a sweat so far, keeping a steady pace for hours. Of course, that wasn't without it's own problems. He, with his god awful eyesight in the setting sun, has nearly fallen into ditches, walked into trees, tripped over rocks and waded through streams. He had no sign of stopping. At least, not until Demi had fallen on a patch of particularly soft grass did the man pause.

The music teacher sighed in relief, the both of them settling down to rest. Larry flopped, kicking his feet this way and that to set up a comfortable sleeping position. It was in Front of Demi, Face up and Feet together.

A low thrum alerted the taller man, vaguely sounding like a radio of static. However it cut off just as quickly as the moon shone from behind the clouds. Demi checked his watch, nervously scratching his arm at the 3:58am glowing from the digital screen. “We should find somewhere safe.” he murmured, but made no attempt to get up.

Another twig snapped, but Demi guessed it was simply another squirrel, or maybe a possum.

A bullet whizzed by, bouncing off the dirt and spraying dirt onto his head, bouncing off to lodge in the tree. A figure burst from the bush, brandishing a blade that gleamed in the moonlight. Oh god, Sasha went into fucko mode 3000 180 STOP DOING THAT :(

Demi hightailed it out of there, while dragging Larry along to guide him. The moon seemed to know of his distress, the light showing the way to civilization. More and bullets swirled and zipped by, glancing his ear and tearing his clothes. The forest was loud with critters and shaking, the animals awake and skittering.

They got to a lit, public place, collapsing under the gazes of judging people.

Sasha slowly turned to see the angry gazes of nature, having dropped her gun somewhere back. “Alright you fuckos…” she brandishes her brass gleaming knuckles. “COME AT ME.”
