Chapter Text
Luz was a formidable witch in the boiling isles. Known at her school, Hexside, for her generosity and kindness. So whilst she sat with her adoptive mother Eda enjoying her quiet life and her juice. She was not expecting the giant titanquake that happened next, shaking the ground violently and spilling her juice all over everything, including herself
“Gah!!?!!” she exclaimed as the house continued to shake violently.
She stood up with some effort.
“Eda, I'm going to go see what's going on, I’ll be back”.
She walked outside and every step she took was harder and harder to manage. Luz was quite focused on moving forward with each step, so focused in fact she didn’t realize she was walking towards the head of the titan, she looked up in front of her. The crimson treetops of the forest around her shifted. She saw a light where the quaking seemed to be coming. As Luz crunched through the trees she saw the light. When she arrived at the spot it was a small orb on the ground.
As she picked the orb up the quaking seemed to slow and a bright blue portal ripped itself the swirling magic. She could no longer feel the ground under her feet. She was floating. Her name was called and she turned. She dropped the orb and it disappeared before it hit the ground. Eda came crashing through the trees.
“LUZ!!” she yelled in a panic.
Luz could feel the portal pulling her in. Her short brown locks were swaying in the periphery of her vision. She looked at her light brown skin and hands. A slight blue glow gleamed off of her. She reached out for Eda.
“EDA!! HELP!!”
Tears dripped from her eyes and levitated next to her face. Her hand grazed against Eda's before she was sucked in.
“EDAAAAA!!”
She could only see bright blue and white for a moment before the rift spit her out in a strange, unrecognizable place. She fell onto hard stone and stood up and tried to assess her surroundings. There were metallic monsters moving along a different kind of stone in front of her. There were tall buildings and people everywhere. She staggered back and covered her pointed ears.
“What the-”.
Two people were staring at Luz strangely. They had round ears. It was strange. The two started towards her but she ducked into a building that was labeled cafe. The strangers followed her. She slid under a table and covered her head with her hands to no avail. The two strangers followed her and found her immediately. They helped her up.
“Hi,” the guy with short brown hair said.
“Hello” the girl with a greenish blue hair color said.
“I’m Willow, that’s Gus” the girl explained.
“H-hi, my name is Luz”.
