It was late, she came home, work had forced her to stay overtime, an activity she did not like, even though she was still single she loved her time alone, even though she was trapped in her time after the fight against Naraku she still meditated and practiced with her powers, she had hope to return to the past, even though it was already five years after her return she kept telling herself "hope is the last thing to be lost", yet here she was in a way unhappy with the turn her life had taken.
After graduating from college it had been easy to get a job because in her history internship she had been a very important asset for some very important findings, things that according to her superiors had been lost for years and had come to believe that they were only legends, and finding Midoriko's cave had catapulted her in a huge way, while for others it was something new and fascinating, for her it was a memory of her other lost life.
