*Set during the Gordon runs away filler ep.*
Henry After three hours of a nap, awoke to an empty bed. Which he had not for a few months, since he and Gordon began resting together. Literally not anything weird, Gordon has a really hard time sleeping at night, so when Henry takes naps Gordon sleeps with him. It's been going on for a while, no one really wonders where the two magic knights went for hours at a time. No one really cares about them in general.
But they care for each other, they see each other. It's always been like that, since Gordon had met Henry, they’ve been friends since they met. It was better for the both of them, Henry stayed healthy, and Gordon felt more confident talking out loud now, his magic being depleted by Henry's curse.
It was always a kind of love for each other, even if it's just a friendship, they love each other. So when Henry cant find Gordon he freaks out, looking everywhere for the other loner. And when he found the dolls that Gordon had made of the Black bulls on a table in the lounge, he thought the worst. Henry had always had a weak heart, be because of an illness or because of a loving soul. And when he couldn’t find Gordon, he thought the worst, and the dolls- Gordon’s prized possessions- being on display made it all the worse.
And when he read the note, he felt even worse. It said That he felt that he needed to be alone to fully blossom as a magic knight, to go back to the solitude he felt as a child. Henry didn’t want him to be alone, he himself didn’t want to be alone, Gordon had practically become his second half. He had to find Gordon.
So he asked the Black bulls. Yami was first, he was in the bathroom, later. Magma was second, he and Luck were playing cards. Finral, gone on a mission. Asta, training. Noelle, watching Asta train. Damn, no one really was there to help, even the kind hearted Vanessa was busy with a new shall for Asta.
So, he took finding Gordon into his own hands, and then became incredibly weak. A feeling he hadn’t felt in months, not since he and Gordon met. He would have risked his life going to find Gordon, but he couldn’t. He became faint and struggled upstairs to his bedroom.
He wished when he awoke Gordon would be by his side.
His wish wasn’t granted, when he woke, he was alone, it was night now, and no one seemed to even be in the house. He made his way downstairs, in search of food. And walked past the dolls sitting on the table, he took the one that Gordon had made of him. He had made it in their bed, while Henry was relaxing one night. Gordon was so proud of the doll, he showed it to the other immediately.
Henry felt a tear fall down his cheek, he prayed to any higher power that Gordon was still alive, he had to be. And as he walked back upstairs, without any food, he heard the door open. And a familiar voice sounding from the lounge. It was Gordon. Henry turned faster than he thought that he ever could. To face the pale man he hadn’t seen in over a day.
Gordon looked like he had been through hell and back, but with a sparkling hope in his eyes. Henry had looked at him for too long, and decided to hug the man instead. Wrapping his arms around the other as fast as possible. “I…….was…..so…scared…you…were….in…danger.” Henry muttered as he hugged the other closer, feeling stronger as Gordon’s mana came to him.
“I'm fine, Henry, just a little tired, and hungry.” Gordon said, hugging the other back. Henry
Was taller than Gordon, his head falling on the others. “I'm sorry I worried you, doll.” Gordon apologized as he felt his shirt becoming wet with Henry's tears.
After a meal, and an explanation, the two men went upstairs to rest in the bed they had shared for months, and that had the smell of Gordon and Henry mixed into the pillows. As Henry fell back asleep Gordon promised that he would never leave again, with a kiss on the head, Henry fell asleep with the promise.
Gordon didn’t break his promise, and Henry would never awake with a cold bed again.
