Chapter Text

We are in chapter 3.

The Fun Gang gets casted deep down below into a huge trap door by [insert antagonist here, probably Mike and/or Tenna] completely seperated from [insert new friends, probably Toriel and/or Undyne & Napstablook] the trap door oddly looks like the top of a toy chest...

They all are plunged deeper and deeper into darkness...

...Until, all of a sudden...

The @&#$ Squad awakens in a bright, beautiful landscape of flowers, tall trees overgrown with flowers stand tall.

Fortunately for The Lancer Fan Club, a bed of golden flowers broke their fall.

The sky was a lovely light purple, the grass in sections of lovely light colors.

It's the wonderful land of INSOULED! A stark contrast to the trials and tribulations that the Delta Warriors had to face so far.

It's a zenful, but nostalgic, small, cute little citizens could be seen roaming around, they look distinctly like toys.

This area has a faint resemblance to Magicant from EarthBound.

Soon, they are suddenly greeted by the caretaker!

It's the lovely Fleura! 

She wears a pinkish white poofy dress with purple on the gown skirt part and a big floral pattern on the gown that goes down the dress, red flowers, similar to the red leaves that litter the RUINS of Undertale gently entangle in her long, white locks of hair and a BIG sun hat, the hat adorned with flowers, similar to the ones Asgore displayed in glass in his dilapidated house, long, red velvet lined gloves with pretty floral patterns, her skin is a pale paper white, eyes of pitch black, no puplis, her eyes and mouth pitch black, kind of like the face of a comedy mask, no nose, and a wide smile that (usually) never fades, her eyes glowed distinctly with the colors of the barrier sometimes, usually when deep in thought.

She tends to describe the world and situations as if she's an author, writing a story.

She's a delightful, patient woman with perseverance.... and fun in her heart!

She does her best to enjoy the cards she's dealt with and accept the world as is.

Fleura: * Welcome to my special heaven!!!!

Her whole author speaking dialect is her own distinct way of speaking, to separate from the "RHYMING, RHYMING!" and [[SALESMAN LINGO TIPS FOR 9.99!]]

Her theme is a lovely zenful melody with 16-bit SNES choir.

Fleura: * "And so, the harbringers of light approach?" 

* "But what is it they wish to ask of me?"

* "The lovely lady Fleura, caretaker of INSOULED, was ready to answer any questi-"

Susie: * Uh, yeah that's great..but do you like..

Know the way outta here?

Fleura: * Hm? I beg your pardon, young monster?

Ralsei: * Excuse me, but..we are actually in the middle of a very important mission!

* If you could be so kind, we would like to know the way out.. -ralsei smiled patiently-

Fleura: * ..What about you, young Kristopher? -she knealt down to Kris-

Nothing!!!!!              ❤️ Tell us the way out

Fleura: * ........................ -her gaze is hidden by her hat-

* ....But of course! I shall gladly show you the way!

* "(...She says, despite the immense hesitation she heard in Kris' voice...)"

* ....Of course, first I must see your abilities..

* You all must prove yourselves..

* Prove to me that you are strong enough to survive!

* .......IN A SERIES OF FUN FILLED CHALLENGES!!!

Each member of The Fun Gang plays a "challenge" which is actually just a fun minigame.

Afterwards, she reveals that the challenges were just a testament of the team's abilities to enjoy life.

Naturally, The Lancer Fan Club is disappointed.

But soon after, the TRUE challenge is revealed, with Fleura challenging the heroes..to a sparring match!

Fleura: * Now, my friends..one last preparation must be made.

And....

That...

Is....

-she quickly points behind them- * OH FREAK LOOK OVER THERE!!!!!

The Delta Warriors do not move an inch.

Fleura pulls out a comically large squeaky hammer and SMASHES the heroes heads in with it.

* Fleura STOLE your ITEMs!!!

* Fleura disabled your healing magic!!

* All heroes HP was dropped to 1!

Susie: DUDE WHAT THE HELL!?!

Fleura: * There we go!! The heroes are now fully ready to bray their challenge..

Completely prepared, with no issues whatsoever..

Susie: * WAIT A GODDAMN SECOND YOU LITTLE-

Fleura: * The battle begins!

The start of the battle is merely an excercise in using something new..

Fleura: * Now then! I understand that you all may be quite frightened..

*But!!! (Fleura pauses dramatically..)

* There is ANOTHER way to heal yourselves in combat!!

Green pellets float above her.

Fleura: * In combat, healing can be given through...

..GREEN attacks!

You see these little green "healthiness pellets"?

Move around! Grab as many as you can!~

The green pellets move towards you slowly..

If you avoid them once...

Fleura: * Oh, no! It would seem that you missed them!

No worries! At first you don't succeed, try again, and again, and again, and again, and again...

If you avoid them again

Fleura: * ...........

Kristopher?

I know I come off as a stranger, but I assure you, I am teaching you something important!

Run into the green pellets!

If you avoid them again

Fleura: * ...Please, come now. This is for YOUR sake!

I'm not gonna let you do a "no hit run" you pesky little cherries!

If you avoid them again

Fleura: * ...Hmph. We can do this all day, if you want!

From now on, if you avoid them, she just keeps sending more until you hit one

If you hit one after avoiding all of them, the team will be healed, and she says this:

Fleura: * There we go!! I told you all that you have naught to fear! 

The lightners must learn to be more trustworthy!!

If you run into green pellets the first time she asked, she says this:

Fleura: * Delightful! Doesn't that just feel heavenly?

* I assure you, despite whatever hells you face out there, THIS is your safe place!

"Now, the battle bells toll..the team readies themselves for their special lesson, a lesson guaranteed to be enlightening!!"

Fleura laughed (she uses sound bytes from queen sectonia, (kirby) but at a more kinder pitch, her other sounds are made the same way)

For Fleura's battle she uses many plant/flower/toy based attacks, your only manner of healing are the occasional green bullets she throws at you mid attack, they always heal everyone a bit.

All you have to do is survive, but she has no problem with you actually fighting her.

She even uses singing as an attack, much like Shyren.

The fight is short yet sweet, afterwards you get your ITEMs and heal magic back, and you can immediately leave, but now Fleura's Cafe is available to you!

She sells "Favorite Pie," "Golden Flower Tea," and "King Sized Chocolate" (heals everyone)

Lastly, she sells "Royal Robes" all this stuff is great mostly for Kris.

Fleura: * It's me! Your best friend, Fleura! Our bond sure "blossomed" quickly! Teeheehee...heh.

Well, I thought that joke was amusing.

"A young maiden of the flowers have found herself arriving at a land of wonder and peace.."

"Earnestly, she adores guiding others to the enlightement that she's gained."

"There may be a few scars of yesterday, but the maiden remains, and everything is fine.."

Besides guiding, my hobbies include gardening, singing, and writing!

This may come as a shock to you..

But I've always wanted to be an author!

I always thought that was super neat!

Fleura: Did you know that broccoli is actually a flower? Well, specifically, BEFORE it's flowers are bloomed! 

Fleura: * H-How about an ironic flower fact?

Did you know that white flowers..

Are actually MUCH stronger smelling than ones WITH color?

Nature can be funny sometimes, huh? Ahahaha!

Can actually be edible?

Yes! They can make wonderful additions to meals! Violets, chive blossoms, nasturtiums, and Lavender, for baking!

Eventually, when you reach the final area of the chapter, you'll find this shop just next to it on the ground floor.

Going to the left, you see a man clad in big golden robes with a golden helmet and dark purple armor with white winged shoulder pads, his face is a white circle with three black triangles that rotate as he speaks.

Mournfully, he sang out in an operatic voice, in a melody much like the "freedom" leimotif.

🎶"Ohhhh, my hopes, have fallen down..."🎶 

🎶"The flowers, have been blown away.."🎶

🎶"Left to wilt...in a world brought to dust by yesterday.."🎶 

🎶"Her heart...it scattered apart, our lives, now all in vain.."🎶 

🎶"First split to the [first area], then next to the [last area], and lastly, to her new land, where it all remains.."🎶 

🎶"No peace has been squared, with no hope of repair, now alone we reside to our chains.."🎶 

Once then, he walks back into his shop.

That poor woman's world is a dark fantasy.

A fantasy she locked herself into.

Throughout your adventure in chapter 3, you would stumble upon pieces to a black and white remote...

3 pieces...

The last one is most worth noting.

One of the toy npcs is eerily colored gray, and sitting still

It tells you about a hidden area behind the biggest tree that leads down below..

Deep, deep down behind all the lies.

It lies a dark, gray landscape, similar to the one at the start of chapter 1's dark world.

Susie: .........W..Woah..

Just when I thought that armored guy was just misunderstanding stuff..

Is..Is THIS what this place REALLY looks like..?

Ralsei: ...It seems that way, Susie..

I'm..I-I'm at a loss..imagine what upstairs really looks like...

Living in a projection of a world..trying to ignore your problems..

If we can fix this...we'll be helping both of them, won't we?

Let's do our best to find that "piece" he was talking about, okay Kris?

Susie: ..Kris, you...

You look really...

...H-Hey. You..don't have to go with us, y'know?

If you're uh, really that freaked out..you can just go back up there.

The @&#$ squad takes a couple steps forward, but suddenly...

Fleura: * Greetings!!!

-she was right in front of them-

Susie: * The hell!? Wh-Where did you--

Fleura: * I think we should all play up above instead, okay?

-Red leaves spun around the team, Fleura took a deeeep breath, her chest puffing up comically-

Ralsei: * W-Wait!! What's going o-

-the heroes were blown away!-

(Just like that, you're back in INSOULED)

Susie: GAH!! GET THESE LEAVES OUTTA MY FACE!!! -susie ravenously scratches at nothing-

...W..Wuh..?

-Ralsei blinked twice, then rubbed his glasses, then blinked again-

Ralsei: She..blew us back outside??

Susie: Man, what is UP with her!? She's so weird!!

This is stupid, we gotta distract her or something if we wanna get down there!!

(If you go back in again)

Fleura: Back again, Kris? The exit is the other way, you silly little apple!!

It's dangerous to play here! Come now..

-she blows them away-

(when you go back in again)

Fleura: * ....

"...Fleura once again returns in confusion.."

"Not understanding why such a boring place is a point of interest..."

Lightners, please! It's drafty here, you could catch a cold!

"Once again, the maiden of flowers takes a deep breath, and..."

-she blows the heroes away-

(Going back in again)

Fleura: * ...Please.

Lightners! It's dusty here, you could catch a cough!!

This is such a boring place, there is nothing to do here! I would know!

Fleura: * . . . -These dots are placed very slowly, a shadow cast over her face as a small green eye with a red pupil is shown, similar to omega flowey's eyes-

-her face transforms, a mouth opens with a big, wide maw, her tongue resting on the bottom half of her teeth like flowey does- KRIS!!!

-Kris backed away more and more as Fleura's voice got louder-

Fleura: ..... -her eyes shrank, her mouth back to normal, with a frown, a tear faintly seen-

-she covered her face with her hat, and took deep breaths, these breaths were audible, and shaky-

-she did not take her hat off her face-

-vines slowly wrap around the team and carry them away-

(from now on, if you enter, and she's not distracted..)

(What you are SUPPOSED to do, is revisit Fleura's cafe..to see a new talking subject, replacing "Your Love?")

(The cafe theme is slower now.)

Fleura: * !!!!!

Surely you meant to say home, right?

Well, you can consider this your home away from home, little Krispy Cream! Heeheehee!

(The option to talk about Homme is the only option left, and you can't exit the cafe anymore.)

(The music gets slower and slower as you keep selecting "Homme" with Fleura's eyes and mouth getting more and more melty (like Chara's creepy face) as she keeps saying no.)

Fleura: No.

(The music gets slower and slower until it quiets down..)

Fleura: N o . . .

-Fleura slowly put her hat over her face-

-Fleura repeatedly smashed her fist into the desk for 6 seconds-

Fleura: .....

I...have to do something...wait here..

-she ran away-

(The music continued playing, at a very very slow pace.)

(You're stuck at an empty cafe until you leave the screen.)

(And even when you leave the cafe by pressing a button, the slowed down music from the cafe keeps playing all throughout INSOULED.)

(The NPCS start saying short sentences that usually consist of one or two words max, usually about nonsense, but some of it makes..too much sense.)

(A VERY thin outline of a door in the cafe can be seen, and you can enter it..)

(When you do, you see..)

(Fleura holding herself and gently sobbing, thorny vines and roses surround her protectively.)

Fleura: I am in my happy place, I am in my happy place, I am in my happy place, I am in my happy place...

Nothing..will hurt me...nothing..will break me...

(..If you try to approach her, susie will stop you in a hushed voice)

Susie: What are you DOING, dude!? This is our chance! We can't talk to her! We gotta haul our butts down to that creepy place!

......Kris?

I..l-look, it's okay. I get it.

We..we'll talk to her after we figure everything out, okay? I promise.

You..you can relax. It's all good..

Ralsei: Yes..I'm sure everything will be fine.. 

But..not as things are.

We should hurry.

(You go down into the freaky darkness under INSOULED, and amongst a bed of wilted flowers, you find the last remote piece.)

(Now, you return to Homme.)

(The "Hint...?" option in Homme's shop is replaced with "REMOTE")

(The heavily slowed down version of hip shop has sped up a bit.)

❤️ * REMOTE 

Homme: * ...What? I don't understand...what is this about, lighteners?

...!?

This...this...this REMOTE!!!

I..I remember!! I distinctly remember her using this when she..

...When she..

Homme: * ...You all truly are heroes.

You've done a great thing here, I..I can trust you.

There is a pink television in Fleura's cafe..

Please, with ALL due speed...

RUSH this remote to that television...

And change the channel.

Doing so will tear the dark veil off of that sick little world..

And maybe..just maybe...

I'm begging you all! For her sake, rip her from that horrible delusion of insouled....

It will be hard.

It will all look different.

But please..it's what's best for her..

In fact..here, take this..and show it to her if anything bad happens to her.

Lastly...

I found it on one of my many walks recently.

It..is surging with a power that I can understand..

(Returning to insouled, all the NPCS are gone, except Fleura.)

(Fleura is still behind the cafe.)

(When you go up to the tv..this happens..)

* It's the tv.

* You can hear Fleura crying loudly just from the other room.

-she arrives-

-Fleura slowly walks over, Susie and Ralsei back away, Kris does not-

Susie: * H..Hey! Tell us what's going on with this place, then we'll think about it! 

Cuz, all I've been hearing was bad things lately!

Fleura: * No. You don't understand..this isn't up for debate, GIVE ME. THE REMOTE!!

Ralsei: * Fleura!! This doesn't have to escalate to violence!!

We..we just need to understand you a bit better..

Fleura: * N-No..no..I've done everything I could to...

............. -Fleura looked down..-

-shadow cast over her face, her turn small and red with green pupils like before as she gazes at the team-

Fleura: ***You "heroes" know what's going on here, don't you...?***

***You just wanted to see me suffer.***

The Delta Warriors were shocked, Kris began backing away.

Ralsei: * F-Fleura, that's not tru-

# ***Fleura: FALSEHOOD!!!!***

Fleura: * You all went behind my back to get that, didn't you..

You DELIBERATELY went against me..

And now, you...you want to ruin everything for me...

-she looks at them, her face transforming into a frightening expression-

GIVE. ME. THE REMOTE. I WILL NOT ASK AGAIN.

The team was stunned silent.

Kris takes a step forward..

Susie gets in front of them.

Susie: * No, Kris...

-susie stands protectively in front of Kris-

(A battle is initiated.)

(Her attacks are far more dangerous, and there's no healthiness pellets to save you now.)

(She uses her sickle a lot during attacks to make things even more dangerous.)

(But ultimately, while this fight is rough, it's still short, and ends with this:)

Fleura: * ...Wh y...

Why must you take this all away from me...?

You..you won't like..what you see...

This..I..tell you..

N..N-NO..

I..I can already see it..

Can't you see it..? 

The darkness...it's..growing..

Blackness..surrounds...me...cutting..in..

-Fleura collapsed.-

The room changes to a black, box shape, with only Kris, and the TV remaining.

All you can do is walk up to the TV now..

You change the channel.

The entirety of INSOULED slowly goes static.

And then..

Our heroes wake up in True Insouled.

The grass is black, trees and flowers are disheveled, the dirt and walls are gray, some of the walls have the same creepy eyes inscribed on them from the first area of the dark world way back in chapter 1.

(You wander the howling halls of nothing, searching for any sign of..anything..until...)

(You hear faint crying..)

(Fleura was just laying there, crying alone, the crying audible for the player.)

Fleura: .....

I...couldn't possibly understand..

What I've done to deserve this..

-slowly, she stands up, facing no one-

-she limply raises her arms to the air-

The land..my beautiful home..

It has faded..to a darkness..

The smiling man...

He's right behind you.

-purple strings are seen on Fleura's body-

Slowly, she looks up with a big smile, a tear streak going down her right cheek-

-her arms started moving erratically-

Susie: WHAT THE!? WHY ARE YOU ACTING SO WEIRD!? We're trying to HELP you!!

Ralsei: Fleura, PLEASE!! 

Susie: Ok, this isn't working!! We need to get outta here, NOW!

-Kris frantically ran right pass Fleura, Susie and Ralsei did the same-

Fleura starts eerily floating..

Fleura: Now, now, now, if you hold your breath just long enough, maybe this is a bad dream you can wake up from!!!

-Fleura's face transforms into a frightening toothy grin as she laughs maddeningly-

(Fleura maddeningly follows you from on high as she sends a cascade of bullets raining down as The Fun Gang must run.)

(Her hollow smile never leaves her face as her body is just flung by the strings towards the heroes, no longer in a puppet like fashion, like with Spamton, but more like ragdoll physics.)

(Toys fling at you violently in different ways depending on the toy, for instance, balls will bounce on the walls at you, Jack-in-the-boxes will spring their heads out, yo-yos fling all over the place at you, etc)

(Beware her plant based attacks as well, flowers appearing with their petals blowing off, vines reaching out to grab you, and IF they grab you, you have to struggle to escape as pellets slowly gather around you, it's a hateful, enraged chaos that you have to frantically escape from.)

(The frantic, chaotic music fades out as you reach a safe area..)

(A save point is there, along with a warp door, this warp door replaces the INSOULED one, so if you want to go back to other sections of the chapter and stock up on items, you can.)

The heroes walk into a dark room...

Nothing can be seen but a tall structure-

Until, in the blink of an eye, Fleura appears and faces them.

Fleura: . . . G R E E T I N G S .

I hope our little game of tag was exciting for you.

But...now the games have met their end.

You all..can forget about escaping to our old dream land.

It's gone...forever.

There is no more fun to be had here.

There is nothing left to see.

There is nothing left to play.

-Fleura held herself-

What is this...pain?

...I...I know this feeling..

It..is...hatred.

The feeling that I endlessly tried to escape from..

This was my happy place..

My salvation.

But you have twisted it

Cast aside, I was. 

Ripped from my dreams.

I can't say I've been in your shoes, Fleura.

But, I was alone once too..

For a very, very long time..

Yet..I was able to find myself.

Despite everything...

You poor, naive boy...I had happiness..real happiness..

And now, I can never get it back..

Susie: ...Hey, you..

You don't have to go there, okay?

Yeah, there are times where life just really sucks...

But..if you keep on going..maybe you'll find a light at the end of the tunnel.

..Or, something..I don't know..

But I know that you can't just turn back the clock.

You can't just go back to the good times..

-Fleura lifted her head up a bit-

Fleura: ...You sweet, deluded children..

is where I'm afraid

you are wrong.

-Fleura looked directly at Kris, with a pained smile on her face, tears leaking out of her eyes-

Fleura: Kris...

You are a wonderful child.

And it was nice to meet you..

But now..

This is goodbye.

-Fleura wailed in pain as her strings returned, and jabbed into her arms..-

-her arms slowly morphed into giant, thorny claws-

-Fleura panted heavily in pain, then VIOLENTLY spews out purple strings-

Now, only Kris and Fleura remain on screen.

-Fleura weakly speaks-

Fleura: Kris...your..SOUL..

The soul that strings you along..

If..if I can just..ABSORB it..

Your power...it could be mine.

Your TRAIT...the trait of the red...

Various purple strings suddenly gather around Kris!!

...But then, it was as if time has slowed to a standstill.

And suddenly, just before the strings could make contact with Kris..

The SHADOWMANTLE lept from Kris' pocket, and wrapped protectively around them!

Time went back to normal, and the strings collided with Kris' soul.

There was vast struggle to move against the purple strings...

And yet...

Kris' soul..

YOUR soul..

It suddenly became PURPLE!

Fleura: I promise you...

This will be quick and painless..like pulling a thorn out of a finger..

Be brave..okay?

(Currently, the combat box is composed of 3 purple horizontal lines, your movement is restricted to the three lines, but more lines can be added depending on the size of the box, and..)

(Okay, SURELY you know the Muffet fight from Undertale? Where the purple soul gmmick comes from? Yeah, it works exactly like that.)

(As I was saying, only three horizontal lines, and by deafult, your purple soul is in the middle line, and suddenly, bullets barrel towards you onto the middle line from the left and right.)

(Time stops, and you can move, you are given the choice to move to the top string or the bottom string by going up or down.)

(When you do, you successfully dodge the bullets!)

Fleura: ...What?

(Fleura sends bullets to whatever line you're currently on, time stops again, and you can move to the next one.)

Fleura: .......

(Fleura then has bullets take up all the other strings, but suddenly, glowing blue bullets move towards your string, and time stops again.)

(Now, it seems like there is nothing you can do..)

(..BUT!)

(Allow me to show you the purple soul's new move!

I call it, "band snap!")

(Tapping the button displayed on the screen will make your soul pull back the string you are currently on, and bounce it, like you would with a rubber band!)

(Doing this knocks all blue bullets off of your string, leaving you safe from harm!)

(As you figured, this is only effective against blue bullets, much like the yellow soul can only destroy blue bullets in the SPAMTON NEO fight.)

(Now that you know this, we return to the dark room where our heroes, and Fleura reside.)

Fleura: ...

I..see how it must be.

You..you all want to see how far you can push me..

How far I'm willing to go to GET. MY. LIFE. BACK...

Well..I'll have to show you.

-Fleura stepped back.- 

Fleura: Teeheehee.. -her laughter wasn't genuine, masking her fear and sadness-

You see this shadowed structure before you?

One of my shows was..for a children's audience.

He effortlessly created this giant for me..

It was deemed too scary and dangerous for children.

I..never thought I would find a use for this rickety old thing..

And yet..

My TIME is NOW!

Fleura laughed chaotically as a big, white gloved, cartoony hand grabbed her, and pulled her into the dark structure.

(Suddenly, her voice booms throughout the empty land..)

(These words, in particular..are VOICE ACTED.)

Fleura: Determination, determination, determination..the resolve to rewrite your fate!!

The power to SAVE people..to SAVE lives, to save WORLDS..

ALL FOR ME!! ME!!! ME!!!

A hell has awoken all around me..in the shadow of hollowed hands..

As for you?

(Fleura then foreshadows the main antagonist of chapter 4, like the previous secret bosses have)

And the rumble of the upcoming roars..

But, with your POWER..from that SOUL..

I can turn back the clock!

So then, shall we all begin?

Three..two...

(The music starts...)

The room iluminates to reveal a grayed out floor and HUGE black, diagonal stripes, toys march joyfully with no expression, strings grabbed the team and plunged them into spinning tea cups that revolved around the huge shadowed structure that Fleura was pulled into, the black sky had a floating scenery of a bezerk, colorful sky that shifted from lighter colors to dark ones constantly..

The shining lights reveal the structure.

...It's a giant, mechanical, brightly multicolored, moving clock tower, with giant arms, constant moving cogs and clocks, two huge, unfinished endoskeleton hands with clocks in the palms, and atop the clock tower, where the clock face would be, is a chaotic, twisted, frightening version of Fleura's face, her mouth a huge, frightening smile with two big eyes that constantly rippled many different colors, the pupils tiny and white.

Fleura, in her new form, lets out a WAIL of wrath!

You now face the TRUE secret boss! OMEGA FLEURA. 

She is about the size of Giga Queen, and you face her from the front, rather than to the right.

Her check dialogue simply says:

OMEGA FLEURA - You know what's best for her.

Another interesting thing for this fight is the POCKET WATCH, whenever it's your turn, OMEGA FLEURA'S giant hand will pop up to the side with a big wrist watch on, this pocket watch will show the hands pointing to a certain symbol, THAT symbol clues you in on what attack is coming next. Much like the signs that showed up during the Muffet fight.

Every single attack of hers is tied to the purple soul string mechanic, varuous toy attacks can zoom at you on the strings, or some plant attacks can take up entire ropes, like vines.

Something interesting as well is that the boss theme "NIGHTMARE PARADISE" has SINGING from Fleura in it, she sings out about her pain and sorrow, and how she tried to bury her pain and live in her fantasy, it's an intense song with clock ticking and bell tolls.

Then there is, of course, the "freedom" leimotif, this specific version of the leimotif is an operatic slow version, in the same melody as Homme's song, and while Fleura sings for it, there is a more quiter voice of Fleura you can hear in the background..

The quieter voice says...

Some bullets do different things.

The ball bullets will bounce along the strings in a zig zag pattern, small sickle bullets will dash along the ropes and boomerang back, heart bullets will break in half and each half goes on a rope, pocket watches sway by, cogs can crowd you, blocks with down arrows on them will move along a string, then halfway through the string they fall to the string under.

Of course, not all attacks have to be ON the strings, some will just come at you off the strings, but you can still dodge them, like her arms, and her head can do some crazy stuff too, like trying to bite at you, shooting coocoo birds out of her chest that tweet out music notes at you (SOMETIMES on rare occasions the coocoo bird can be Everyman instead, and Everyman will spit out moths instead)

She can spill tea, (of course, with her pinky extended, she's not a maniac), send toy trains barreling down, toss petals into the air, use her hands to mess with the shape of the combat box, and other crazy moves like that.

There's this attack that Fleura will do at times where she pops out of the clock tower, on a swingset, the strings are vertical this time, Fleura will slowly swing, and when she makes contact with the right most string, you do a band snap to knock her back, you do it again, and again, and you then knock her back so far that she swings back at you from the other side, a warning sign will then pop up from the top of the box, and you have to go down to avoid this, you repeat this three times until her swings break and she falls.

This attack is as prominent as spamton's heart attack, and she glows blue while on the swing so that you know for sure that you have to band snap her away, when breaking the swing, you get extra mercy points.

Now onto how to go about this, if you're going to fight her, there's three segments that you have to destroy, the head, the left arm, and the right.

HOWEVER, to spare her, you have two act options that will help

The first one you NEED to do in order to stop her.

(This act takes all three members, and like 30 TP)

(Why three members? Because Susie holds down ONE arm, Ralsei holds down ANOTHER arm while Kris rewinds a key on OMEGA FLEURA'S body.)

(You gotta do this a lot in order to stop the music, and by extension, stop OMEGA FLEURA!)

* Something terrible is coming...!!!

The POCKET WATCH for this attack just shows a freaky smile.

(It's time for the special attack.)

Believe me, it's not like I haven't tried..

WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? DO YOU REALLY HATE ME THAT MUCH?

...Or are you trying to show me a happy end..?

. . . Then, prove it.

Prove it, and STOP THE MUSIC.

(The battle box turns huge as you are taken to a black void.)

(You're now in a box of 5 purple lines, the box shifting to the right as normal toy and flower bullets come at you, then none are there, but quickly after comes the bouncy balls, then a break before the boomerang sickles arrive, then finally it stops.)

(The box arrives in front of Fleura, who smiles patiently.)

(Suddenly, vines grip her violently, and she morphs into a monsterous plant form, vaguely similar to Omega Flowey, and she then screams, and slaps the battle box away.)

(The entire SCREEN is filled with strings as the monsterous plant Fleura comes at you from the top, and you have to constantly move DOWN, away from her as regular toy bullets slowly move towards you.)

(After a bit, the toys vanish, and Fleura readies a massive blast, a warning sign shows up to the left, and the game gives you JUST enough time to move to the right and avoid a huge stream of vine hands, then the same thing happens again, but this time to the right, completely frustrated, Fleura CHARGES at you rapidly, but..!!)

(The special attack ends, and you take no damage from colliding with her.)

(From now on, random dialogue will be said by her as she fights, these are the lines:)

("NIGHTMARE PARADISE" now plays in reverse and speeds up as OMEGA FLEURA glows and twitches faster and faster, the clock ticking noise and bell tolls going a lot faster)

OMEGA FLEURA: N- N- N- NO!!! THIS CAN'T HAPPEN!!!

I WAS ALMOST THERE!!!

I CAN'T!! I CAN'T GO BACK!!!

DON'T THROW ME BACK INTO THE ABYSS!!!

(she started glitching out as rapid explosions went off)

Regardless of how you defeat her, this happens after...

The clock tower shorted out, the music stopped, and Fleura was sprung out of the machine as all the lights went out.

Yes..I suppose you deserve the full truth now.

Long ago, Fleura was the star of her own children's show. "Fleurishing Life". 

She always had such a loving presence...effortlessly, she brought joy.

But, her show was lacking in the..presentation department.

Her lovely flowers did their best, but..

There was always something missing.

Enter: me.

..I was just "the young fellow who brought her tea" every so often..

But, I had a wonderful craft for designing sets and props.

We made the perfect team, and even got a second show under our belt!

"The promise in our hearts"...a starstruck drama where Fleura's acting skills shined even more.

...Now, I never tried acting before.

But, with Fleura at my side, I...

I felt like I could do anything.

...What I wear now is a costume from my role in the show, and..

W-Well, have you ever heard of "showmance"?

It's..this thing where, people who play the role of lovers during a show..

..Leads into chemistry off set as well..

...Things were perfect between us.

But, it all just came crashing down one day.

I suppose good things just..don't last forever.

Fleura lost both of her shows, due to budget cuts, and..

They just didn't see a NEED for her anymore.

But me..I always needed her.

I told them, were she to go, I'd go as well.

...They didn't even bat an eye.

...But, that's show business, huh?

The two of us lived together for a while and tried to make the best of it.

No matter what, we would always be there for each other.

But..one day, Fleura encountered someone strange...

A strange man, whom blended into the darkness..

The next time I seen her

she was in the deep abyss of her casted out studios.

It might not have looked strange to you, but..

To someone who has SEEN her work, it looked..

Disturbing.

I tried endlessly to reason with her, but..

She was in such denial that she refused to believe in all the things that happened, and refused to leave.

...I was frightened by her actions..and fled to a life of solitude.

...I am elated that you managed to turn her life around.

Maybe..in the far off future..

Her and I can see the spotlight again.

Read the story beforehand, cuz this kinda spoils things.

Here's a more detailed explanation of Fleura's design.
Well, there's her purple big sun hat (which is used to hide her curly sideways horns) her ball shaped dress shoulders have red flowers on them, her face is like a her skin is a pale paper white with eyes of pitch black, no puplis, her eyes and mouth pitch black, kind of like the face of a comedy mask, no nose, with a wide smile, kinda like gaster's face, her head a circle shape, and she has a slim body shape.

Her dress is a pinkish white in the middle but purple at the big skirt gown part.
Then her whole face transformation thing, basically like Flowey's, but it's more of an emotional state thing, unlike Flowey who probably uses it as an intimidation tactic.
Her melty face is pretty much the exact same as Chara's, and instead of a smile, its a frown to reflect sadness/frustration/fear.
And she has her crazy omega flowey eyes and teeth when she's in like severe distress and rage, but like, it isn't COMMON that she shows ANY of these faces, you would have to SEVERELY mess with her, like the @$#& squad did.
When Fleura did that creepy chase, her eyes went static like a tv.
When deep in thought, her eyes do the barrier effect.
her skin is a pale paper white, her gloves a darker purple with vines and roses as a pattern along it, and her dress is big and poofy with a petal pattern going down and various colorful flowers along it, her hair is long and white, poofy at the ends as well, on her sun hat is 8 big flowers, red, yellow, blue, cyan, green, purple, orange, and a golden flower in the center, the exact flowers that were in Asgore's house.
She has light purple heels (that you can't see because of her biggol gown) and four fingers, the purple is reminiscent of Toriel's clothes, and foreshadowing of the soul trait needed to defeat her.

OMEGA FLEURA's eyes have a rainbow ripple effect with small, white pupils, her body is a darker purple, the size of GIGA QUEEN, with her big sunhat, the flowers in her hat now having lightbulbs in them, big cogs sticking out of her sides, the cogs look vaguely like flowers of different colors, at the middle is the hatch that Fleura pops out of sometimes, and the coocoo birds for the attacks.

OMEGA FLEURA's arms are entangled in old vines, fake flowers covering them, however, the hands were not finished, and just have endoskeleton hands with clocks in the palms, this is meant to subtly reference Gaster's hands.

Homme has a pretty well built body, but is still rather thin, he has no arms, but his white hands are pretty big, he commonly wears his golden horned helm and cape with his white winged shoulder pads, and dark purple armor depicting the Delta Rune.

Homme's face is just a white circle with three black triangles, but they change depending on emotions 

Talking - triangles rotate clockwise as he speaks-

Anxious/nervous/flustered - triangles vibrate and change to different shapes rapidly

Lovestruck - his face pulses to pink as his triangles become hearts

Confused - triangles become question marks and tilt back and forth

Shocked - triangles become red exclamation points

Dizzy - triangles become spinning dials

Angry - triangles become a big scribble as his face pulses red

Sad - triangles become melty like watercolor

Defeated - triangles become one big X

Fleura's whole story is inspired by Mother 1/EarthBound Zero/EarthBound Beginnings.

Chapter Text

Seems like the secret boss of chapter 3 was nothing that anyone could have possibly expected.

However, since there's no TRADITIONAL secret boss in the chapter, and given the story of said chapter...

...I think I can definitely work Fleura and Homme into the story with a few tweaks.

However, I have been busy lately, but when I find the motivation and get the time, expect a remake of this story!

But worry not, the whole lore with Fleura and Homme will be intact and unchanged.
