Chapter Text
Donald Trump woke up at 5:30 in the morning, stretching out his limps before looking at the calendar. Of course, the day he’d been dreaming of for years, his day of re-election. His favorite suit, dark blue with a fierce red tie, hung up in his closet. With a proud face he smirked, he hadn’t even observed the statistics like he had the first time. He was younger then, more nervous than now. He was fully confident he had done what he needed to as a president and that the citizens of America would be more than happy to allow him back into office, to lead this country to perfection. Afterall, his opposing candidate was more than hopeless.
Joe Biden was just a few years older than he was, however, his mind seemed to decay at a much faster pace. He could barely stay awake during debates, there was no way anybody could choose him over that....
He couldn’t find a word to describe his opponent, not an appropriate one in any case. His thought was stolen away from him as a lower government employee showed up at his door, leading him to his breakfast.
Despite his confidence, he still began to feel the anxiousness, the same he felt when he was 4 years younger, sitting in front of the statistics as sweat fell down his brow. He prayed he hadn’t embarrassed himself during the prior debates, he winced every time his statistics dipped under 50%. In the end, he still won, he proved himself in the face of Americans and now he would find his way to Make America Great Again! So there wasn’t a reason to fret, his votes would soar over Joe’s, it must!
His phone buzzed and he lifted it from his pocket. His breakfast had taken a while, it was nearing 8 AM by this point. Pulling down his notification bar his face went from it’s usual orange color, to pale white.
In a complete turn of events, Joe Biden had won the election, by a landslide too.
