“Leehannie!” Jaehyun almost cries when the door to the recording booth opens and in pops his glorious junior. Taesan looks annoyed, glaring at his best friend who only glares back. Leehan marches up to Jaehyun and takes his wrist, dragging him out.
“Okay, now spill.” Leehan only walks as far as five feet away from the studio before he begins the interrogation.
“Ugh.” Jaehyun pulls out his phone. “It’s here.” He lets Leehan note it down, a little too aware of Taesan poking his head out of the booth with some sort of murderous intent. Leehan leaves soundlessly and Jaehyun begins running, knowing Taesan is going to chase him down and bring him back and his voice is sort of tired and he really didn’t need the whole front-row seat into his roommate’s love life.
Not all angels have wings. “Sungho! Hey!”
Taesan trips over his own feet when Jaehyun calls out the name, Sungho pausing to look at the two of them. “Um.”
Jaehyun pats him on the shoulder. “Don’t worry about Taesan, he’ll be fine.”

“Tired?” Taesan’s voice is surprisingly soft. That was one of the things Sungho had first noticed about him. “How was class?”
“It was okay.” Sungho smiles, bright, watches the rosy hue on Taesan’s cheeks darken. “Should we go?”

“It’ll be fine, Taesan.” Jaehyun pats his back, a steady presence. Taesan’s stomach lurches anyways from where they are backstage. He can only get a glimpse of the shadows of whoever’s performing right now but he’d gotten a glance at Sungho at the beginning. Pretty, perfect Sungho, sitting down and tapping his foot, oversized hoodie and jeans.
Taesan wonders what happens if he forgets the lyrics on stage and then he decides he really shouldn't be thinking about such a real possibility right now. “Do you think he’ll like it?”
“He will.” Jaehyun nods, smiling. “Trust me. He’ll love it.”
