Love is stupid.
Virgil determined that from a young age, all the love that he knew was artificial. His father's public affection and generosity was all for show, for more companies to invest in his business, to be richer, more powerful, more greedy. His sister, Victoria was the exact same but the female version, she used her look and charming voice to talk her way out of problems and anything and everything she wanted.
The only thing that Virgil can even call real love is his mother but he doesn't even remember her face or voice, the only thing he can remember is watching old Disney movies with her, but once his father deemed her useless she was thrown out like garbage.
So yeah love is stupid, just a cheap thing to gain more power over people.
So why was he feeling this way towards a boy? That made it worse for Virgil, an idiot AND a sinner, just his luck. Meet the problem, Amias, he was Victoria's crush of the week but after she confessed, he rejected her. A big no for Victoria, she always got what she wanted, that made him enemy of the school since she was the queen bee . What's even worse she outed him as bisexual, the idiot actually told her he had a crush on a guy.
Virgil shouldn’t feel bad, he was sinner, out of sight out of mind right? Nope, apparently Amais' great revenge plan was to flirt with virgil. Why? He still didn’t have a clue. “ hey vivi” said amias leaning on the locker, virgil groan.It was to early for this shit, “what the hell do you want Mr. Garcia and i told you to stop calling me vivi” he complained walking away not actually caring on what amias wanted.
“ I heard your sister is throwing a party for summer break, everyone is invited and I was wondering if you want to go with me ?” amias questioned finding difficulty in keeping up with virgil, it came as a shock to him that victoria invited everybody, she's normally very selective on who’s coming, she's up to something and virgil didn't like it. His original plan was to hide in his room till the party ended but he was curious on what Victoria was planning and his gold ticket arrived on a silver platter.
