Scourge wakes up, startled. The last thing he remembers is being killed by that strange orange cat. He is in the middle of the forest... he huffs, walking in one direction. Cats! He sees another cat. "Hey! Where am I?" He mews, only to be met with silence. "Hello?" He mews again, getting irritated. Were all these odd forest cats so rude? Why are they acting like I'm not here? Scourge followed a cat with a twisted hind paw into their camp. So this must be where they live.. He looked around, surprised no one reacted to him.
Scourge walked over to a large bush, pushing past into a den. He looked around the spacious place. He saw a sandy looking she-cat with kits, one with a fiery red pelt and the other with a soft, round, brown pelt. Scourge suppressed a purr, enjoying see the small, innocent kits. I hope they don't go down the path I did... he shook that thought away quickly. "So innocent...!" The fiery red kit bounced up, glaring at him. "Did you.. hear me?" Scourge whispers, crouching down to the ground. "Who are-" The small kit was cut off by her mother, "Squirrelkit, who are you talking to?" Squirrelkit went quiet, huffing. Scourge purred with amusement. But he realized that this kit was the only one able to see him.. or so he thought.
Scourge gazed at the other kits, a tortoiseshell she-cat, a long legged black tom with a brown underbelly, a dark brown tom with a dark underbelly and a white she-cat. The sandy she-cat fell asleep. They are so small and helpless...- "How did you disappear when my mother saw you?" Squirrelkit interrogated him. "I.. I don't know. I think I'm dead." He admitted, looking at his paws. His white paw.. it matched Squirrelkit's! How interesting. "Kit, tell me about where I am right now." He mewed. "Excuse me?! Don't boss me around!" She yelled.
"Shhh! You'll wake the others." He whispered, looking around to check no one woke up. He looked back at Squirrelkit, alarmed by her furious glare. "You just bossed me around." Scourge purred with amusement. "You will make an amazing leader, you know." Squirrelkit simply hussed, looking away. "Kit. Tell me about clan life, please."
Squirrelkit ended up explaining clan life all night to Scourge. He smiled, laying beside her and falling asleep.
