It's summer break and 1A is working as hard as they do during school days. They train, they spar, they study, repeat. It's not that they were forced to, it's that Aizawa gave them incentives to finish their summer homework.
They find joy in it though. Others may take it as a reason to better themselves, preventing themselves from getting dull over the break. Katsuki and Izuku work twice as hard. Getting competitive on who does better (though one sided on Katsuki's end, still fun).
Today was not an exception. They both sparred with one another.
Meals were best eaten after a long day of sparring. It was the best prize after a work well done. They eat together with some other people in the class like they normally do and head back to their room afterwards.
Katsuki finds that his air conditioner is broken. It is summer after all. The cold of the are conditioner is tempting in the hot weather. After leaving it on everyday after training eventually broke his air conditioner.
He finds himself knocking on his dorm mates for a chance to share the room. He starts with Eijiro and Denki. but they did not answer. He did not know where they were but he had a gut feeling they were sneaking around the kitchen for a snack. He gave up because he knew how long they would take everytime they get into the kitchen.
His next choice was Izuku, who surprisingly answers him. Katsuki brings his own blanket, planning to sleep on the floor with his blanket as a cushion instead. He was hesitant to ask Izuku at first, well who woudn't be considering his army of little All Might figures scattered across the shelves and tables?
Izuku is more than happy to accept him into his room, saying that it was much like a sleepover during their toddler days. Of course, nothing has changed over the past years. He still wears his All Might onesie. Izuku says that Katsuki should wear one too for old time's sake.
He does after a long while of promising Izuku would take notes for him when class starts.
Katsuki wears the extra Izuku stored. It was ill-fitting. It was a bit tight on the shoulders and the onesie barely touched his ankles and wrists. It was embarrassing.
To Katsuki's shock, he forgot his pillow. He tells Izuku to get it for him because there is no way Katsuki was going out there and risking that his friends would see his embarrassing onesie right now.
Deku hears the commotion in the kitchen. He reminisces the sleepovers he had with Katsuki before, remembering they always had a ton of snacks. He goes into the kitchen hoping to get a few snacks but he bumps into Eijiro and Denki already there. He invites the two over in his dorm. A sleepover would not be a sleepover if it was only two people after all.
As the three bring their choice of snacks. they are greeted by Katsuki, who is wearing an All Might onesie at the moment. The obnoxious, big, yellow ears on its hoodie, the surprisingly accurate design, combined with the way it fit on him was enough to send Eijirou and Denki giggling. Shocked by what they see, Eijiro and Denki give eachother the look they always do when they laugh at a stupid joke.
"HAHAHAHAHA BAKUGO I NEVER WOULD HAVE IMAGINE YOU WEARING THIS AT ALL" said Eijiro.
"I guess my dreams tonight will be beautiful" Denki jokingly commented.
Katsuki, with his face red, frustrated and embarrassed that all his efforts to hide the onesie wasted. "Shut up, damn brats. Deku forced me to! Get out!" Trying to redirect the blame.
Izuku knew what he was trying to do so he just accepted it. He gave an endearing sigh at Katsuki, trying to hold in his laugh at how red he became.
It was a shame, they didn't have as much snacks as Izuku wanted to because Denki and Eijiro brought the majority of the snacks before they were told to leave. Now that they were alone together, they both prepared to sleep. Katsuki was the one to prepare though, Izuku already had his bed ready He was only waiting for the lights to be turned off once Katsuki was ready too. Izuku was just about to finish reading one of his comics before he realizes Katsuki near the floor of the bed seeing that he was planning to sleep there.
"Kacchan, you don't have to do that, the bed could fit us both if we squeeze in you know."
Katsuki was obviously annoyed by that suggestion.
"What?? We normally used to share a bed before. What's so different now?"
"Nothing Deku, go to sleep."
"Fine Kacchan, If you're sleeping on the floor, then so am I" Katsuki lightly kicked at Izuku before he could leave his own bed but Izuku is a stubborn person too. He insists to follow their traditions on their sleepover, ignoring how red and annoyed Katsuki is becoming, thinking it was because he was cold.
Katsuki turns red in the ears. "Do whatever damn brat" He didn't expect this outcome to happen but it would be lying to say he did not hate it. They end up sleeping beside eachother on the floor, at least they're lying down on the carpet beside his bed. Izuku noticed that Katsuki's ears were turning red. He thought it was because he was getting cold, so he stayed closer to him.
He gave him an annoyed look, though he secretly liked it, and said goodnight. They slept that entire night.
Eveyone was surprised that Kasuki went out of Izuku's room instead of his last night and severely teased him for it.
