Work Text:
After Elias left for work, Peter slumped down into his armchair, tired and muzzy.
He was hoping to go into the lonely to rest and regain himself.
But instead found himself dully staring at the far wall, unable to move.
He’d come back from being at sea two days ago and then he’d felt so alive.
Full of energy and ready to take on anything, but now he felt like an empty hollow husk.
Like Elias had sucked up all his vigor and life, like …a … a vampire.
Yes, that was it. The bounce in Elias’s step when he’d left for work, his bright eyes and smirk.
Elias had in fact drained Peter dry.
Peter smiled slowly to himself thinking about Elias in a cape and formal wear.
Yes, Elias was indeed a vampire, not the traditional kind but, the way Peter was feeling, he might as well be.
Peter took a breath, drew the last of strength and allowed himself to slip into the mists of his patron, to recuperate.
