Chapter Text

It was a nice night at the shop space floor. The elevator had came to a jolting stop, scaring some players. The elevator doors opened to reveal a hoard of players, rushing out of the elevator to buy supplies they'd possibly find useful for their stupid wants. While the players were distracted by all the eye catching objects on the shelves, some crowding around the mysterious ball that was...for free?

Enphoso looked happy, like usual. Not a surprise to see the wide smile it always had on. Every hour of everyday. If you even call it days at this point. It looked upon on the players, grinning at the cosplayers. What interesting avatars they had, it'd think. "Welcome to my store. I only sell glig glags and doo dads, so be sure to pay up at the front desk! BUT DON'T STEAL ANYTHING FROM ME." Enphoso had strictly warned the 'precious customers' every time they had arrived on the floor. Ze noticed some players were newbies, watching as they walked towards its desk and sprayed it. Lots of water. What a pain..

"Why don't you come a little bit closer? I promise I won't bite..." Enphoso had exclaimed towards the players who kept spraying them. It was quite rude of them honestly, they were just a goofy smiley ball who sold things in a shop. No need to get scared or act aggro certainly! He leaned his upper body onto the counter, his chubby curves of yellow squishing and spreading comfortably. Bored as always, occasionally giggling at the idiots who bought the mysterious ball. Enphoso's eyes lit up though when she saw a particular someone though, a black silhouette rolling in a crate into the elevator, swiftly leaving and going back to the backrooms. Always leaving no time to chat with Enphoso, how rude! Then again could either of them truly talk anyways?

Enphoso's eyes dilated and stared at the crate as it broke open. "I see you!" MR had, appeared? Out of the crate that had broken, kind of just, emerging out of thin air within the crate that was clearly too small for it to fit in. They locked eyes, MR's sight being unclear sure, but Enphoso could sense the rock's vision, staring deeply into xis eyes. Oh how the big yellow creature yearned for interaction with the oh so powerful, yet small rock god. Xe giggled at the sight, becoming love stricken, but MR would never understand the look in it's eyes. They never could, and possibly won't ever know..

MR stayed silent, of course. His coat, unlike Enphoso's clothing, didn't crease around its folds, but stood straight around their body, making it seem like a regular giant god, even if short. Enphoso wasn't jealous, no, it wanted to know how his stone skin folded. Not in a weird way, but, wanted to hold the godly being as if she needed support. It sighed and laughed at random, per usual. "Hello!" Enphoso had been covered in red heart shaped flower petals, coming from a cone that a player or two had thrown into the air towards her. It was appreciative, even if ze didn't know these stranger players. It was nice to get some kindness as a little shopkeeper, even with a...bad reputation.

Sadly, their time had to end eventually, the players being teleported into the elevator. Enphoso looked at MR longingly, reaching out subtly. If only the god could notice the simple mortal's(?) want for zem. It wouldn't matter either way, MR couldn't talk. Could he? It never did so, no point in asking. She smiled painfully at the rock, watching at the elevator doors closed. The rock hadn't even batted a singular eye, out of the three it has. What a shame..
