This morning, nene waited for rui in front of his house to go to practice together. But after a long while of waiting, he wasn’t coming out of his house. “Rui, are you coming?” She knocked on the door, but no one answered. “Dang it…is he ok?” She took out the spare key from her bag which the Kamishiros’ trusted her with, and went inside the house.
“Hello? Is anyone here?” She walked to rui’s room and saw him sleeping soundly on his bed, soft snores coming from him, “this guy…always staying up late and not caring about his own health…” She pulled a blanket on him and sat beside him, watching silently as he slept. “I better tell the troupe he’s not going…” She messaged the group telling them rui won’t go and suggested postponing it to tomorrow. After receiving the reply from emu and tsukasa, she left rui’s room, and started cooking him some ramen. “I wonder when will he be up…” She sat the bowl of ramen on the table and went back to rui’s room, quietly staring at him.
(“Gotta admit…although he is annoying…he may not be that bad to be with after all…what am I thinking anyways…”)
She sighed, stood up and tried to leave, when a hand bigger that her’s grabbed her wrist. “nene…is that you…?” “rui?” “Stay…” nene gently shook his shoulder, waking him up. “rui, are you ok? It’s 3pm now, wake up.” “nene…? You’re here…” “Yes I am, now get up and eat.” She sat beside him as he ate the bowl of ramen hungrily. “Geez, slow down rui, no one’s gonna take it from you.”
She smiled softly as he continued to eat, enjoying this little moment between the two of them. “Hey, you made this for me? Thank you nene~” “W-whatever, just eat…” “Fufu~nene’s smiling~” “I’m not…” rui gently tugged her loose hair behind her ear, poking her face afterwards. “What are you doing…” “Fufu~ nothing~” “Hmph…”
A while later, rui’s parents came home, and so nene went back to her place. But her mind was filled with that period of time between them, only the two of them. Who knows? Maybe she felt something at that intimate moment, but will she ever tell? Not really huh.
