How are things at the temple? Aster has been keeping me busy with wedding plans. They're having two of them, can you believe it? Leave it to Aster to make a wedding even more exciting.

Yakumo and Garu are downstairs in the kitchen brainstorming cake ideas. He insists on baking one himself, but he took my suggestion to have the wedding catered. I saw the guest list and over a thousand people were invited. Apparently he and Edmond are going to tastings all around town. Blade wants to make decorations for the reception and is out shopping for wax. Aster is even talking about some stamp collecting event for the shops in town. I guess everyone wants to be in on the big day!

Which brings me to the reason for my letter. Aster has asked me to officiate the ceremony in the Royal City. I'm flattered, but I've never done anything like that before and feel pretty out of my league. I promised him that I’d think about it. I'm afraid it would really hurt his feelings if I turn him down. If you have some time, could you teach me about the wedding customs here and maybe give me some pointers? I'd love to co-officiate the wedding with you, if you'd be all right with it.

Can't wait to see you. Bring that white and gold outfit when you visit, would you? I think it’d look great on my floor.

We anticipate out-of-town visitors by the thousands. No matter how they might behave, remember that we are the Knights of the Klein Kingdom and will maintain our dignity. Order and safety should be our primary concern, while ensuring visitors leave with a positive impression of the Royal City.

If necessary, the reserve knights will be activated to ensure control. We do not anticipate needing the assistance of the Solarian Guard; however, they will be present for the Sun Lord’s safety. They are to be left alone. I have their assurance that they will not interfere with our duties except where absolutely necessary.

Lord Aster marries Solarian royalty in record-breaking event

ROYAL CITY. In a lavish ceremony held in the Royal City’s largest temple, Light Territory noble Lord Aster and Solaria’s current Sun Lord exchanged vows before a crowd of thousands. The couple then traveled by carriage through the city to Lord Aster’s residence for a private reception. Along the parade route, spectators dressed in finery waved limited-edition fans and tossed pink and red bouquets purchased from official merchants positioned on the road.

The Royal City was at record capacity during the event, with visitors traveling from as far away as the Saia continent. Hotels city-wide reported no vacancies. According to a representative of the Klein Knights, all off-duty personnel were activated to control the crowd, which remained in the streets celebrating until after sundown.

The ceremony was officiated by the Grand Sorcerer and a visiting priest, Father Olivine of the Water Territory. Lord Aster is the Grand Sorcerer’s familiar, having also served his predecessor, the Grand Sorcerer Huey. Father Olivine and the Sun Lord are both members of the Grand Sorcerer's inner circle.

In an exclusive interview, Morvay, a close personal friend of Lord Aster’s and fellow familiar, told us that in excess of one thousand guests attended the garden reception at the mansion. Party-goers enjoyed ten flavors of cake and a live performance by idol band Tidal Wave of Summer, which reunited for the occasion. Guests were treated to party favors that included a casino package, custom-labeled wine, and limited-edition candles.

The afterparty was held at Paradise casino.

“We couldn’t be happier,” Lord Aster said in a brief statement as he exited the casino with his husband. “Be sure to visit our official wedding sponsors to pick up your stamp card and start collecting!”

The Sun Lord declined to comment.

Despite his technical role as Prince Consort of Solaria, sources confirm that Lord Aster plans to retain his current title and residency. The couple will travel to Solaria next week for a second private ceremony.
