Requested by anonymous — Can I request a fluffy songfic about his shy female reader teaching Luka (Miraculous Ladybug) how to ballroom dance at his house? Hint#1: It goes from serious dancing to silly, playful dancing. Luka bumps into her by accident, and she begins to lose her balance. He lunges to catch her so she doesn’t fall. As their foreheads touch gentlely and the flustered pair blushed crazily. Hint#2: This song is Sway by Michael Bublé. 😉💖 Please?? ~🐇

Work Text:

Luka furrowed his eyebrows, staring nervously at the hand you held out for him. Music played in the background and Michael Bublé’s voice echoed throughout the room. After what seemed like forever, Luka finally stretched out a hand.

Your fingers wrapped around his. He followed your lead, moving to stand directly in front of you. Luka had been hesitant when you asked him to dance with you. Sensing his nervousness, you decided to take the lead.

When marimba rhythms start to play,
dance with me, make me sway…

You smiled at him as he slowly became more comfortable with you. He gave you a small smile in return as his confidence increased. You felt his hand, which was resting against your side, tracing shapes into the fabric of your clothes.

Like a lazy ocean hugs the shore,
hold me close, sway me more…

Luka pulled you closer to him. In doing so, however, you nearly tripped over your own feet. Luka held you tightly, staring into your eyes, before he pressed his forehead gently against your own. A blush decorated Luka’s cheeks as you chuckled at his expression.
