It was a wicked day for a volleyball tournament. Both teams were rearing to go. One team had an orange-haired player who could jump like there no tomorrow, while the black-haired player was tossing the volleyball into the air for everyone to hit into the other court. The orange-haired player was clearly wanting to impress the rest of the group, he was jumping and doing all kinds of stunts.
The opposing team had a white and black-haired player, with a black-haired player again being the one to toss the ball for the players to hit. The story for today though, focuses on a blond-haired player on the previous side, and the white and black-haired player. But also not.
The white and black-haired player was excited to be there, clearly, while the blond-haired player looked like he would rather be anywhere else. What made it fun though was the orange-haired player kept bumping into the blond-haired player, making the blond-haired player angry and lash out. A silver-haired player made sure to discipline the both of them, that was no way for teammates to act!
The white and black-haired player was also making a name for himself, he was the only one who was trying to touch the ball. The black-haired player kept pushing the ball towards other players but the white and black-haired player kept taking it for himself.
The ball was going wild, being flung back and forth across the court. But what was this? A part of the ball was starting to come undone? What was coming from the ball? String? How did string even get into a volleyball? It wasn’t until the volleyball had unwound more and more until it was only a pile of string remaining, that a clearer picture started to form. That wasn’t a volleyball, that was a ball of yarn that had just gotten unwound. That wasn’t a volleyball net, but a blanket piled into a line to resemble a wall, or net. These weren’t volleyball players, but cats! Cute adorable little cats!
The blond-haired cat hissed again at the orange-haired cat, done with the game. He walked off of the court and laid down on the side of the blanket wall. The white and black-haired cat also walked off the court to curl up with the blond-haired cat. Both cats started purring, eager to fit a nap into the hectic day of being cats.
Everybody wants to be a cat!
