Notes: this is my first post so it’s probably not the best, also I’m British so there’s that.
What the fuck.
That’s the first thing that went through your head when met in the throne room, face to face with the reality you are now being married off to 𝑩𝒂𝒌𝒖𝒈𝒐 𝑲𝒂𝒕𝒔𝒖𝒌𝒊, prince of 𝑨𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒐̈𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒅.
Your breath hitched in your throat as your mind spins with rumours and tales of his treacherous attitude and behaviour. You couldn’t believe your parents were actually sending you off to 𝒉𝒊𝒎, this being a suggestion by the crown’s advisors was completely disregarded in your mind as an option. Slowly nodding in disbelief, though to an outsider’s perspective it would have been mistaken for acceptance. Shock. Now denial in the fact that you will live the rest of your life in fear of a man you are to be wedded to and carry his heirs.
Robotically bowing to the court, you then elegantly shuffle back to your bedroom still wondering if this is a cruel dream given to you by the gods for an unknown sin. You sit down on the plush cushions of your chair with a book in hand trying to distract you from the truth about your predicament.
