Darkness as far as the eye could see
no matter how far she tried to look everything was pitch black
the floor, the sky and everything around
it made her feel Claustrophobic
made her feel like she was in a lone dark box
all alone.... so she kept walking in the hopes she could get out.
Then after what felt like forever she walked up to 2 people? More like figures.
the were covered in darkness expect their faces but even those had black scribbles covering them like static
She look at them anxiously.. she knew them
but looking at them was painful, she didn't wanna look at them anymore she hated it
so she tried to close her eyes, but couldn't. no matter how much she tried she was forced to look at those figure
Tears welled up as she whimpered a please and that please turning into begging and that begging turning into non coherent screaming
until everything faded into darkness.... Now huddled up all alone yet again she hoped this would end, but it didn't.
Hearing approaching footsteps she looked up and saw her friends or people she hoped she could call friends
they lighted up the darkness their faces in full view.. She was over joyed so she didn't waste a second
until she came to a halt close to them.. she heard what they were saying
''So glad we don't have to be around that girl again'' stop.... ''all she does is complaining and be in the way, it was such a chore having her around'' stop!!
''Who would want a sister like that anyways'' STOP
''Let leave her'' as they said that they walked away from her leaving her alone once more...
now on her knees she couldn't hold in the tears so she cried filling the darkness with cries of pain.
Until she looked up to see someone she couldnt quite tell who it was at first due to how dark it was but noticing the girls pink hair she got up and rushed to the girls side
''Estelle!!'' she said with relief but that relief as Estelle turned around with a cold stare ''sorry.. who are you again?'' before she could even take in what she heard the other girl turned into a heap of blastias, because that was all she ahd in the end.. Being in a box with blastias.
''Blastia would never abandon me.... never''.
Rita shocked awake slowly disorientingly looking around ''W-what was that... was just a dream?'' She thought to herself as she sat upright placing her hands around her eyes to wipe away the tears before lying back down to try to get some more sleep but she didnt know how long she spend staying awake but she couldn't stop thinking about her nightmare.
So instead of trying to force sleep she silently got out of the tent to get some fresh slowly walking away from there camping side to find a nice secluded place nearby now that she couldn't fall back to sleep, failing to notice someone else noticed her going off on her own.
''woof?'' Repede being the one keep guard tonight noticed Rita go off noticing her sad face he realized she need someone and he couldn't just chase after her leaving the rest unguarded so he slowly walked up inside the tent Rita walked off from and towards one of the other sleeping girls and very gently waking them up, he barked soflty not trying to wake up more then the person he wanted until the sleepy pink haired girl woke up still very sleeply ''Repede? what is it?'' she said barely half awake which caused Repede to sigh and walk towards were Rita was sleeping (which was close by to Estelle), Repede barked and whined again hoping he could make estelle understand.
''Huh Rita? were is she?'' As she realized that Rita was gone she almost shoot awake and also silently made her way out of the tent well following Repede until he stops and pointed towards the direction of a small nearby hill with his paw
''Rita is that way you say? Alright.. i go check on her'' she said as she readied herself to see what was up with Rita but not before giving Repede a pet on his head ''Thanks repede!'' well Repede brushed of the pet he got Estelle was sure he was happy with the reward as she watched him walked away.
Rita now sitting on a small hill overlooking the starry sky was deep in thought which make her unable to notice someone walking up to hear until she heard who it was ''Their very pretty right?'' Rita being brought back to realily anxiously looked towards Estelle causing the other girl to frown with worry ''Whats wrong?''
''Would you believe me if is aid noting...'' Rita said as she looked away finding it hard to look Estelle in they eyes at the moment
''Nope hehe, mind if i sit down next to you?'' she said Rita did see it but she was sure she said it with a smile ''Sure...''.
And a awkward silence begin as the two sat next toe each other on the hill but it wasn't so bad sitting all alone with Estelle, looking at the starry sky, it was kinda romantic she thought which made her heart skip a beat and her face to fluster even so she still couldn't bring herself to look at her all she could muster were small peaks and muttered attempts to start a conversation until at one peak Estelle crawled up closer to Rita before stoping when her knees touched her legs before straightening up and looking at Rita straight in the face ''catched you hehe, now tell me whats wrong alright? no need to be so shy'' she said as she returned to sit right next to Rita but now slowly holding on to Rita's left hand hoping it would help calm her down instead it made Rita even more flustered but somehow it give her the courage to finally tell Estelle about her nightmare.
''I-i dont know were to begin...''
''Hmm.. why not begin with what the source of your worries?''
Rita looked down before answering Estelle question
''A nightmare".
''Was it a bad one?'' Estelle asked Rita with a a sympathetic look well continuing on ''That must have been pretty hard... i-i use to have a lot of them too'' now it was Rita's turn to give Estelle a sympathetic look ''You did?'' she asked and Estelle nodded in responds
''around the time my mother past away but the older i got the less they happened, i suppose i got use to be without here in my life.'' she told Rita well looking at the starry sky with a sad look ''Estelle....'' Rita didn't know what to say but it wasn't long before Estelle picked back up the conversation ''Now then, would you be willing to tell me about yours?'' she asked with a smile, a smile Rita couldn't refuse ''S-sure''
And so Rita told Estelle about the dark figures that give her pain to look at, the hurtful things her friends said, she told her all about her worries of being abandoned, not wanted and most importantly being all alone and well she put a brave face on the whole time when she was done tears started rolling down her face yet she still tried to hold it all in.
''Rita...'' Estelle shuffled up behind Rita on her knees and envelop Rita in a hug ''Its oke to cry Rita, its completely oke''
Like a trigger Rita coudlnt let it in as endless amounts of tears ran down her face now but no matter Estelle kept her in her embrace ''Non of us will abandon you Rita, well all care about you so you don't ever have to worry about feeling like you don't deserve us''
Estelle said softly, hoping it would quell her worries as Rita cried on until after a small bit her sobs became less and well in between those sobs she replied back ''You wont forget about me right..?'' Estelle didn't hesitate to answer that question ''Of course not Rita, i would never'' and as sone as those words left her mouth Rita broke free from Estelle's hug and turned around to wrap her arms around her ''Thank you, thank you...'' she said as the both of them enjoyed the hug
After a awhile Estelle broke up the hug and slowly returned to holding one of Rita''s hand giving the other girl a look as if to ask if it was oke which Rita nodded as a yes well rubbing away the left over tears too ''You think you feel better to sleep again?'' Estelle asked which Rita nodded yes too as both girls walked back to their tent never letting go of each others hands.
as both of them lay down to go back to sleep Rita scuttled closer to Estelle and with a mumbled thanks embrace her in a hug
''Good night Rita~''
''Night..''
As both girls snuggled until they both feel asleep...
''So anything interesting happened last night well on guard Repede?'' the purpled haired swordsman asked well eating his breakfast, Repede glaces at the girls tent and then back at Yuri before giving him a resounding bark telling him ''nope''
Well something DID happen, but he doesnt think his owner needs to know of it he thought as he continued eating his own food.
