Being seen as violent can damage a person, in Andres case it is a prominent detail of his being. He knew he was rough and sometimes he was even too much for people to handle, and It wasn't entirely unusual to be seen as the more dominant one between cal and him, sounding more demanding had that effect. In reality he knew that, it was just a fact, He was in some way more violent, or atleast different. There had to be a reason people treated him this way. Well, everyone except Calvin. Calvin loved to look at Andre in such a gentle manner that Andre started to wonder if any of it was even worth it, whether he and cal should've just packed up and left that shitty little town where Brad huffs house was egged, the graveyard where Rachel Lurie had called the two gay, which wasn't entirely wrong of course but the fact she'd figured out that easily frustrated him to near death.
Calvin was often seen as perfect, too soft, due to the meekness of his voice or maybe the gentle way the light reflected off of him making him look like he'd come from heaven, however the irony of the situation was when late at night when Andre and him would spend the night over at eachothers houses Calvin would sit in his lap staring down at him, complimenting every possible detail; every freckle, birthmark, and scar on the boys body, and in the end it wasn't Calvin who felt perfect but Andre, who enjoyed the way Calvin had taken the time and effort to memorize him that well. Calvin could practically be blindfolded and tell in great detail of the scars and freckles, the exact amount and vague location of them, this always got Andre absolutely swooning over him. “Andre,” Calvin's voice swung him back to the scene. ”oh, yes my bullet?” he tilted his head a little, looking up at him sweetly. Calvin chuckled at the petname as light blush spread over his cheeks like a serene rosey sunset sparkling in the sky, which could only mean the stunning dark brown color of his eyes must be space above and only defining his perfection. “I love you, ” he grinned stupidly, breathing softly against his face. "I love you too, what's on your mind?” Dre sniffled in response, rubbing Calvin's thighs which were planted nicely around his own and trapping him against the bed. "Just you, as usual.” the warmth between them kept them awkward and giddy, laughing and smiling between the small distance. Andre of course was an easy fluster, however was terrible at showing it. Calvin only enjoyed it more, testing this known theory by holding his face to kiss him, Andre kissing him back immediately as his hands drifted up his body, rubbing his waist and gently tracing Calvin's braces with his tongue, the cold taste of metal warmed by the heat of his mouth was enough to get Andre fidgeting under cal, Calvin pushing him down in an attempt to stop him from squirming under him, lazily opening his eyes as cal pulled away with saliva following, wiping his mouth and glancing back up at Andre who looked as if he were going to faint. "What?" he embarrassedly snorted looking away, “I wish you could see yourself the way I see you." the words hushed the two of them, Calvin meeting his gaze again and smiling uncontrollably."I'm sorry— that. Was embarrassing," Andre shrunk away from him a little, feeling hot with embarrassment and guilt,"No! What? Dre, that was the cutest thing you've ever said.." Calvin was quick to reassure, "I was just shocked is all, I've never been told that but I've always thought the same about you, seriously I just think you're adorable and I love the confidence you have—" he rambled, squirming more than Andre did and embarrassedly bursting out into a fit of laughter, tearing up a little, Andre unable to help himself giggling at him and admiring him, setting his hands in the other boys and genuinely appreciating the moment. "I love you," Cal choked out through his sob of a laugh despite having already said it before, "I love you too!" Andre breathed, leaning against him and breathing him in. "Is that my Cologne?" he looked up, taking a much more in-depth sniff. "uhm. Yes…" Calvin sheepishly admitted through his smile, looking away playfully. Andre could only smile against him, his cheeks hurting from the way he grinned and flusteredly pressing his face against cals chest, resting against him and relaxing. "I love you angel," he confessed softly and rubbed the boys back, feeling him soften and whine beneath him. "Love you…" he mumbled back affectionately, only moments passing before he started to drift off into the comforting warmth of him.
