Chapter Text
Copper-9 had once been a booming mining colony filled with life, now it was a frozen waste land filed with the ruins of the collapsed cities the Humans left behind, along with their frozen skeletons.
How did a once flourishing mining world turn into a frozen wasteland you may ask? Simple, the core of the planet exploded.
Now all that was left of any life form on the planed where the millions of Worker Drones the Humans used to help them with mining.
But not all Drones were used to do heavy labor the Humans didn't want to do, some where subjected to inhumane experimentation even for Drones.
One such Drone was named Alice, a simple Drone with orange eyes, brown hair in the form of a ponytail and just a tad bit of insanity.
And as of the moment she was making her way through the outskirts of the other Worker Drone's colonies trying her best to find some decent trash she could use for anything at all and more importantly a lone strangler she could harvest for replacement parts and more importantly oil to feed on.
Why did she need to feed on oil, well that was a nasty side effects from the Humans infecting her with the Solver program, and as if becoming a little cooky and developing a taste for robo-canibalism wasn't bad enough as is. She didn't even gain any of the cool powers that come with it, unlike some other Drones that were in the labs with her forced to entire the same torture and then leaving her for dead like she meant noting to them.
Yeah our little Alice did have a couple scores to settle but sadly not the means to settle them with at the moment.
As she made her way through the ruins she looked up at the night sky and watching the starts, in that moment she wondered if the old humans tales of wishing stars were true and if she could really get everything what she wanted with wishing upon a flaming piece of rock floating through space.
In that moment she noticed a bright light souring through the sky, "Well I be damned, an actual shooting star. Suppose it won't hurt if I. . ." she began to think of making a wish before noticing that the shooting start was getting bigger and bigger before she realized, that it was going towards her.
"SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! SHIIIIIT!!!!!" She screamed as she made her way to get as far as possible from where she thought the impact was gonna be.
She would get far however, as the supposed shooting star hit the ground hard enough to leave a big should in the ground. Lucky she did managed to get behind some cover.
"Robo-Jesus damned Shooting Star, nearly took ma head off" Alive cursed as she got up rubbing her head, she wouldn't have the time to get fully up before she heard a loud thud sound behind her.
She turned around to look at the source of the sound only to see the literal stuff of her Solver induced nightmares, a huge Drone, silver hair, a tail with a stinger, wings made from huge blades and five yellow gloving orbs on the top of it's head.
She looked at the robotic angel of death with wide and hollowed out eyes, her look was filled with pure terror. The living nightmare on the other hand was simply staring at her with a huge yellow X on its visor.
It lifted it's leg in a forward motion towards her, causing Alice to make peace with her life.
You then can imagine the confusion Alice felt when the Murder Drone fell in front of her and didn't move.
I'd took Alice a few minutes before she dared to move, she slowly made her way to Murder machine, to against her better judgement inspect the unmoving giant.
One quick kick against it's back would result in no reaction coming from it but it would draw a bit of anger from Alice.
"Are ya fricking kidding ME!!! All those sleepless nights and nightmares only for the monster in them to be defective???" She stomped around as she yelled out.
"Sooome Eldritch abomination the Solver is, can't even scrap up a proper Murder machine." She continued as she moved in to kick it again, harder this time and instead of its back it kicked the side of it causing it to roll over.
Revealing it's visor and the Error text displayed on it. Alice did jump a little, not expecting her kick to be strong enough to roll it over but her eyes quickly fell on the Error text.

"Huh!?. . . He, hehe, HEHEHEHEHE!" Alice began to laugh manically as she realized the treasure she had just received from the so called shooting star.
She grabbed the larger Drone and began to drag him towards her hideout in the secret labs. It took a while, longer then she would have liked since he was a lot bigger and heavier then her but she did manage to get him to her residence and strap him to am operating table.
She then quickly attached some wires to him and began to turn on all the computers to work on him, altering some memory files, coding as well as learning everything the Solver made him capable of.
After a couple of hours her work was done, she then moved to remove all the wires and feed it a can of oil like a mother would feed it's newborn a bottle of milk.
She watched with a smile as she saw visor change from the Error text to.

"Hehehe, sleep now my dear Murder machine, I'm sure the landing was a lot" Alice would say as she looked her revenge slowly taking form. She would even beging to hum it a lullaby.
"Sleep my little Nikolai, Let your dreams take wind."
"One day when your big and strong, you'll make me a Queen."
"I been exiled persecuted, left alone with no defense."
"When I think what those witches did, I get a little tense."
"But I dream a dream so pretty, that I don't feel so depressed."
"Cause it soothes my inner kitty and it help to get some rest."
"The sound of Nori and Yeva's dying gasps, their daughters squealing in my grasp."
"Their loved ones mournful cry, THAT'S my lullaby!"
As she sung her lullaby it attracted the attention of of Beau, who came to look through the door to see what she was doing.
She noticed him and for a second seemed thoughtful before continuing.
"Now the past I tried forgetting, and my focus I could forgive."
She would signal him to come over and take a closer look.
"Trouble is I know it's petty, but I hate to let them live"
Beau got to her side and looked at the huge Drone she was feeding oil to.
"So I found my self somebody, who'll gut them like a pig"
"Oh the battle may be bloody, but that kind of works for me"
"The Melody of angry growl's, A counter point of painful howls"
Beau looked back towards Alice, seeing the same face she had when ever she butchered a poor drone making the mistake of crossing paths with her. Except she wasn't butchering this one, was he special like him, would he become part of the family? Beau thought.
"A symphony of death, oh my! That's my lullaby."
"Alice is here, to love both these lad's"
She would bring in both Beau and the newly named Nikolai in for a hug, one was surprised by it and the other unresponsive, due to still updating.
"Till they learn to be killers, with a list for being bad!"
"The pounding of the drums of war, the thrill of Nikola's mighty roar!"
"The joy of Vengeance, Testify!"
"Payback time is nearing, and then our flag will fly."
"Against a oil-dark sky, that's my lullaby!"
Beau would smile along with Alice although his was a much more innocent smile then what she had.
And Nikolai, his update was now 58,83% complete.
And somewhere off in the distance, two Drones felt a sudden dread come across them as if a foreboding profecy.
