Andrew doesn't know why he feels so restless; Julia is sitting next to him talking about some nonsensical topic, while his mind wanders to his sister, Ashley... He doesn't know why, but the moment she told him she had a boyfriend, something strange happened inside him.
The moment he met Liam, Ashley's "boyfriend," he struggled not to say or do anything inappropriate towards him. He was a small guy; Andrew didn't believe he was 21 years old.
He was a little smaller than Ashley, with fair skin and messy brown hair and brown eyes. That day he came over for dinner, he had a band-aid on his right cheek. He is wearing a pale blue collared shirt and cinnamon-colored shorts. He wore white socks and white sneakers, and finally, he had big blue eyes.
The dinner was... calm, which annoyed Andrew. Liam seemed to radiate a vibe of calm and peace that kept Ashley in check; it even affected him, and he didn't know why.
Even his parents felt at ease in front of the boy, adopting a less hostile attitude towards Ashley; when they asked where they had met, they were surprised when he said they had met in online school.
No one knew that Ashley was still studying; apparently, they both clicked during a project they had to do together.
Andrew could only die of frustration inside; not even he could get Ashley to finish a simple essay, and this guy was even helping him graduate high school.
After dinner, while the parents went out on a date, Ashely and Liam sat down to watch a horror show on TV while Andrew retreated to his room.
I try to use his computer or play some game on his phone, but the thought of his little sister being with some random guy in the living room gave him an annoying unease...
Trying to avoid making noise, he got up, opened the door very carefully, and looked at what they were doing.
Simply sitting there in silence, watching the show, letting out the occasional comment about it, it wasn't until they separated and shared a long kiss, while in the background a guy's head was blown off, that Andrew left; he said goodbye to Ashley and Liam and mentioned he would be where Julia was, unable to continue witnessing this… not knowing why he felt jealous.
Andrew arrived unexpectedly at Ashley's house; despite being greeted with a smile, he knew he was making the people in the house uncomfortable for being so late.
After a while, Julia and Andrew sat outside her house, allowing Andrew to smoke.
"Are you okay, Andrew?" Julia asked, pulling him out of his thoughts.
-Yes... "Why do you ask?" Andrew replied almost indifferently.
"You're pulling my hair again," she said as she freed herself from Andrew's grip.
"I'm... I'm sorry, I didn't realize." Andrew said, stroking her.
"Your breath stinks," Julia said, smiling at him as she leaned on his shoulder.
"Yes..." Andrew said awkwardly, the image of his sister and her boyfriend still in his mind.
