Skinline: Commando
#Luxtober, Day 2: "Commando Lux, redesigned."
(See the end of the work for notes.)
Sweat, mud and blood mingled on Lux's cheek.
Back to the burning jungle.
A dozen good commandos butchered, picked off one by one.
It was still there in the trees.
Waiting for her.
She could hear the damn cawing.
"If it burns," she lit the flame, "I can kill it."
I literally dreamed this one. "Commando Lux but it's Predator and the Predator is Fiddlesticks." How could I not.
