• norton and naib are very close friends, and will go to one another when having panic attacks or struggling with their traumas. they understand each other in a way no one else at the manor can. they’ve slept together a few times to relieve stress.
• andrew and luca are in a relationship, at first andrew wanted to keep it a secret from everyone but their close friends (victor and then eventually edgar) but lucas big mouth and forgetful brain is a bad combo. he accidentally told tracy which led to her telling emma, and once emma knows something the whole manor will find out. though even if luca hadn’t told anyone, everyone knew they were probably together due to the excessive pda (mostly on lucas side). these two will kiss right in the hallway these days, or even in the dining hall during mealtimes.
• naib has a crush on eli but knows eli doesn’t feel the same due to him already being engaged. he’s never told a soul, he likely never will.
• william, norton, and naib will often arm wrestle, or some other physical challenge due to the three of them being the physically strongest people at the manor and wanting to see who’s toughest. they think it makes them look cool.
• most unpopular people at the manor: matthias, aesop, andrew, kreacher, freddy, servais
• most popular: luca, emma, norton, naib, fiona, florian
• survivors and hunters have a schedule of matches they are required to participate in, but they can also join matches on their own during their free time or off days. at first nobody understood why anyone would purposely want to be in extra matches but the boredom eventually got to most of them.
• copycat mode has ruined some friendships.
• some survivors are always in matches due to their high usefulness. people can form their own teams if they join matches willingly, and eli, fiona, naib, and lily never catch a break from everyone begging them to play with them.
• luca started off being fairly hated by most of the survivors due to his appearance and criminal status until they got to know him better. hes the most social person at the manor, and can hold a conversation for 10 people on his own. his popularity is also due to his handiness, so he is constantly asked to fix various things for people.
• skills don’t always work the same outside of matches as they do in them. fiona has tried numerous times to global portal herself outside of oletus manor.
• eli’s owl can somehow deliver letters outside of the manor, but only to gertrude. every other letter is sent right back to his window. any letter asking her for help or a hint to his whereabouts are also sent right back to him. eli gave up on escaping the manor long ago and has since stopped sending them in hopes his love could move on from him. he’s never received a letter back from her.
• emily is extremely overworked, being the only doctor at the manor. wounds from matches heal on their own and very quickly and nobody can truly die here, but it still hurts and takes time to heal regardless. she practically lives in the manors clinic, her actual room has dust from how little it’s used. everyone feels bad for her and will help out when they can, some taking turns watching patients so she can have a break.
• many people at the manor have a crush on luca, some getting over it and others not so much. nobody’s made a move regardless because of andrew existing. victor writes poetry about luca, norton and naib want his body, and edgar wants the old him back.
• edgar and luca were close friends and artist/muse pre manor. luca does not remember him.
• alva and luca have a father-son relationship and have since forgave one another. other survivors often refer to alva as his father and luca will lose his mind.
• luca has made it his life mission to not let alva find out he’s in a relationship with andrew. alva already knows. he sees himself and herman every time he sees the two together and it fills him with melancholy. he is happy for luca but wishes he could’ve gotten a happy ending as well.
• jose, demi, and kevin are in a friends with benefits relationship.
• many survivors suspect vera and margaretha are together, they’re practically glued to one another’s side at any event or party. they deny the rumors fervently of course. vera doesn’t “swing that way” as she puts it. (she does)
• joker is deeply in love with marg. marg doesn’t know how to tell him she’s a lesbian
• florian was obsessed with befriending matthias. in his mind they’re the only ones that can understand one another. his incessant pestering led him to forming a friends with benefits relationship with matthias. florian wants a real relationship with him but matthias has a lot of self esteem issues to work on, and florian will wait as long as he needs and always be there to help him. he’s pretty sure they’re dating but they haven’t put a label on whatever they are yet. surprisingly nobody at the manor knows.
• ada and emil are hated by most of the manor due to their EXCESSIVE pda. some thought it was cute at first but everyone started to get jealous/outraged fast. those two will kiss hug and even try to do worse, anywhere and everywhere. emil was between ada’s legs at the dinner table once.
• victor always checks a room before he enters to make sure emil is not inside. he doesn’t want wick to scare him.
• victor is the manors resident postman. he’s one of the few survivors that can enter the hunters side of the manor without consequence to deliver mail.
• truthfully, there aren’t any real consequences for any survivors to go to the hunters side of the manor. hunters can go to the survivors side as well. most choose not to, except for the few who have relationships with the ones on the other side. most survivors are scared to enter the hunters side of the manor. everything is much bigger, they are like ants and they feel just as hunted there as they do in matches. the hunters are also free to hunt them, as it’s their territory. survivors can’t be hurt by hunters on their side of the building due to manor rules, but their side is free game. they can’t be killed, but that only makes it worse. hunters are being forced to participate in the games the same as survivors but many of the hunters truly enjoy doing it, and enjoy inflicting pain on them.
• robbie, alva, and joseph are the only hunters who frequently visit the survivors side of the building, and aren’t as hated. most avoid alva, the man intimidating. alva is only there for luca, and will often wait around the library for the man. robbie is there for emma, annie, and memory, who often go to the garden to run around and play. robbie is well liked in the survivors wing, despite the pain his axe inflicts in matches, they know he’s just a child and it isn’t his fault. joseph is a hit or miss. he’s often hateful and bloodthirsty in matches, but outside of them he’s just a sad old man. he often wanders around the manor taking photos, or he’ll join someone for some tea if invited. he’s incredibly flirtatious, making him popular with some of the girls.
• rooms can appear and disappear out of thin air. most have chocked it up to “manor magic” and if they think too hard about it they’ll start to lose it.
• there are no seasons at the manor. one day it can rain and the next it could be snowing, then a heat wave the next day.
• the survivors side of the manor is more decorated and lively, looking lived in. the hunters side is cold, big, and incredibly empty. it often looks like no one even lives there. every survivors room looks identical, with a personal bathroom connected while the hunters rooms are bigger and come pre decorated to their own personal tastes and hobbies.
• several survivors rooms aren’t lived in, preferring to sleep in someone else’s with them.
• emily has a beautiful voice. if she hadn’t chosen her profession as a doctor she easily could’ve made it big as a singer.
• norton is a copycat crash out. if someone pisses him off and he is able to kill, he will kill, game be damned. he’ll do it right in front of everyone too and then say at the meeting table “yeah i did that shit”
