“Look at how much we’ve already sold out of!”
Velvette held up her hand and Val gave her a high five. Sales were the best. All you had to do was mark a few things down, add more items that were overpriced, and then slap a huge sale tag on it all. People flooded their servers to buy Vee merch.
“Where do you want to go to celebrate?” Vox asked from his spot near the window. He’d had who knew how many glasses of whiskey at this point.
Good. He’d needed it. Even Velvette might have killed some of his investors by now. “Roulette?”
“Roulette!” Val exclaimed, stretching out all six of his limbs. Even the edges of his wings fluttered while around him. “I hope there’s another hostage exchange! That’d put a bow on top of such a good day!”
Vox chuckled. “Roulette it is. Hostage situation pending.”
“When isn’t there one?” Velvette asked. “Everyone knows it’s the best place for it.”
“And yet people seem to miss how many of those end in orgies.”
Val grinned. “Some people are too embarrassed for their own good.”
Velvette shrugged and actually put down her phone. To the Roulette it was.
