Sincerely; in a sincere or genuine way.

Summary:

"What would the girl uniforms even look like on a dude?" Takao mused, his voice filled with playful curiosity. "I never really wanted to find out, but I suppose you'll be seeing Monday, much to my expense," Midorima remarked, adjusting his glasses. Takao chuckled in response.

Notes:

Hello, to anyone who is subscribed to me only for Glamorous Blood Will be Splattered!! This is something that should only have one chapter, but I decided that I wasn't forcing people to wait on things enough so... Here you go!

Seriously, thank you to anyone who still supports my work. I've finished the first real chapter of Mutants in Ooo, so anyone who is waiting for that update can expect it in about two days. The next chapter of GBWBS is during the revising stage, so that can be expected soon as well.

Anyway, enjoy me projecting my gender problems onto my favorite character for the 100th time. if anyone has ideas for previous works or this one, comments are always on.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter Text

"They can not be serious." Midorima spits out. Takao turned his head to Midorima, who was reading a letter sent from the school.

It was a leisurely Saturday, with no classes or practice to attend, Takao found himself studying at Midorima's impeccably maintained and towering home. They were in Midorima's, organized room, adorned with soothing pastel greens, creating a nice and charming ambiance.

The doorbell rang in the middle of Takao and Midorima's little roughhousing session when they got distracted from the real reason they were there, and Midorima went to go get it.

He came back with a letter that read, from Shutoku High, to: Midorima Shintaro. He made a small joke about Midorima getting suspended or worse; Expelled. Midorima made a fake annoyed face and scoffed, (which sounded more like a chuckle, but Takao decided against pointing it out.)

Midorima opened the letter slowly and gently, with the kind of care only his delicate, taped hands could give. He pulled the paper out of the envelope and set it on his vanity table.

When Midorima had started reading the letter his expression was stoic, a bit softer than usual, but mostly blank. However, as he continued to read through it, his face grew contorted, scrunching up like he was tasting something sour for the first time.

"They can not be serious." Midorima spat suddenly. Takao stared at him with a bit of worry on his face. "Shin-Chan, are you good? Let me see what the letter says."

Midorima turns to Takao with a very concerning facial expression before (reluctantly) handing over the paper. Takao took it, a little scared to do so considering Midorima's reaction to it.

The letter read;

From: Shutoku High To: The Guardians of Midorima Shintaro,

To the guardians of Midorima Shintaro, we send this letter out in hopes that you are doing well, but also to tell you that a new policy has been put in place.

Your child has shown that they understand the school dress code by wearing the appropriate black slacks and jacket. However, due to what the district has officially voted on, we can no longer allow them to wear such a part of the dress code.

The new policy put in place states that all students, with no exceptions, are obligated to dress from the part of the dress code based on their biological gender.

We hope you understand, and if you wish to get a refund for the uniforms you currently have, you are allowed to do so.

If there are any issues with the new policy, please take it up with the Tsukiji district, for we had very little say in this decision.

All forms of contact are at the bottom, so please, contact us or the district if there are problems.

Sincerely: Shutoku High

When Takao finished reading the letter, he shared the same face as Midorima.

Shutoku was widely regarded as a prestigious school, known for its stringent rules and high expectations that set it apart from the average school. There were no places to slip in between the cracks, Takao would know, he had been dress-coded seven times.

Midorima followed every school rule to a tee. He had never been reprimanded for his attire before, since he made sure to adhere to the dress code without fail. The only instances when he even considered bending the rules were when Takao attempted to persuade him to skip class or something similar.

Takao's gaze shifted to Midorima, who had moved from standing tall beside Takao to settling back down in front of the bed where they were studying. Takao nervously massaged his neck, sensing that Midorima could be considering dropping out altogether. “So..” he began, “How’s this going to work?”

He approached Midorima and took a seat next to him on the smooth, white carpeted floor. "Do you even own any girls' uniforms?" Midorima glanced at him, then down at the small desk, before replying, "Yes, my parents bought a few just in case the school had a policy like this, but I never anticipated said rule being enforced."

"What would the girl uniforms even look like on a dude?" Takao mused, his voice filled with playful curiosity. "I never really wanted to find out, but I suppose you'll be seeing Monday, much to my expense," Midorima remarked, adjusting his glasses. Takao chuckled in response.

Notes:

IDK how long this chapter is exactly, but I'm trying to set a pace since, I don't know if you can tell, but I kind of only started this because I noticed how "Trans Midorima Shintarou" wasn't a tag. So, I decided to make the first fic with that tag. PLEASE let this turn into a trend because I am very dehydrated.
