When Benthomaar heard the crows flying away from the forest, he could hear screams from the humans that were from across the border. For once he was worried of what happened beyond the border, since he knew there was his fiancé and his daughter that lived in that cave not so far from the border. “What was that?” He asks and looks over to the werewolf with his ears up and looking angry by the second. “it's the same human that hunts me and lord Garmadon as before…” Shade answered and he scowled and went out of the store and Bentho followed after. They then saw all of the creatures gathered as they whispered and talked to one another about what just happened, “do you think those humans found our places?” Bentho tried to ask Shade again but the werewolf indicates to him to be quiet, they all then went dead silent until Shade flatten his ear and sigh.
“The coast is clear… I think they didn't even bother to check what's behind the border.” he told everyone and they all sigh in relief to hear the news. But something in Bentho's mind made him cannot stop to think about what did they do in this place, right almost into the wood. Something in his heart told him that something bad happened beyond and outside the border, as if it told him to go check on his fiancé and his daughter. “I need to go outside the border.” He told Shade and was about to left but the werewolf quickly hold him in place. Something in the werewolf mind told him it was a trap setting for the siren, “No. You cannot go out there. What if something bad happens if you go far from here? You can't just ‘fuck and find out’ and not expecting terrible happen right in the second?!”
Bentho knows that his friend was worried for him, but he really needs to find out what happened out there and he also needs to check on Scott and Harumi's well being, just to make sure both are safe and unharmed from the humans. “It's about my fiancé and my daughter's safety. I need them to be safe, I can't let anything happen to them” he shook his hand away from the werewolf's grasp, as he walked away to the outside of the forest. He just needed to make sure and quickly went to the cave beyond their border between the forest and the village where the humans live.
Benthomaar then walked quietly, making sure the humans weren't around and didn't see him around there. He hid when the human was still patrolling there, as he could hear their conversation about something. He can't really understand what they are saying but his fins rise when they start talking about a certain medusa that was near the human territory. They said that the medusa were strong and a threat as the hunters were already trying to find a way to kill it. And within something, Benthomaar felt rage and distraught learning what they were going to do to Scott.
Thankfully the hunters didn't find Harumi as she was camouflaging between the rocks in their home. But right now the thing Bentho needs now is to go back home and go to save Scott and Harumi, and carefully avoid those pesky humans.
He slowly sprinted behind them as he ran faster to the cave that was his home. As he was in front of the cave he could see the chaos happen, there was definitely fire around the cave. “Oh no…” with hurry, the siren then ran faster to the cave and extinguished the fire with his power. After the fire was gone he ran and then he found Harumi hiding behind a pile of rock, he approached her carefully as he could see the gargoyle was shaking in fear. “Harumi?”
“D-dad? Is that really you?” She asked in fear, as Bentho lent his hand and lifted her up and hugged her after. “I'm right here, what just happened here? Did you get hurt?” Harumi just shook her head but buried her head on his chest, still shaking from the incident. “There were humans surrounding the place, saying that they wanted to find something in here… I don't know what they were trying to find b-but they said about the border… the Wicked Willow sides. And the next thing I knew me and papa were surrounded by them!” She shouted as her tears fell.
“Then where is Scott?” He asked, looking around but didn't find any sign of the medusa near him. “When the humans found us He hid me in here, and he said he's going to distract them… I'm scared what if—” She was about to cry again but bentho comforted her and made sure there weren't bad things going to happen to Scott. “Let's find him okay? I'm sure he's alright” he said and smiled at her, as the two then searched for Scott.
Oh was his word wrong when they found Scott laying on the ground, unconscious. As black blood spilled on the floor with him covered in bruises, his tail was cut off by the humans as a mark that they were there. And what's most shocking was that there's still a sharp dagger that was stabbed in his rib. Harumi the squirming as she freed herself and ran to Scott unconscious body as she cried out to him.
“PAPA!!”
Benthomaar stood there in the back, seeing the love of his life injured and possibly on the verge of death. He was horrified upon seeing Scott's unconscious body and his tail were cut off and the stab wound on the rib. He quickly ran to his side trying to wake him up. “No no no no!!! Wake up! Scott, my love, can you hear me?! Please no… don't leave us! Scott?” He tried to call out to him but there was only a ragged breath as Scott slowly opened his eyes. He only smiles at him and Harumi, “I'm sorry… for not protecting our home… I tried… but they were going to… hurt you”
Without any words, Bentho just quickly carried him in his arms. Tears falling from his face as Harumi follows them from behind. And as soon as they arrived at Wicked Willow, Benthomaar then rushed through and went to the werewolf and the witch house. Neuro was surprised by their sudden arrival, he was about to ask something but when he saw how badly injured Scott was he understood and led the siren to put the medusa on the table and check on him. “He's almost on the verge of dying. Don't worry I will help you, with a few magic and potions I'll have his tail back and his injury will heal in an instant. But as for his conscious… I don't know if he'll wake up in a meantime” he told Bentho, his face was filled with anger and despair seeing his lover almost dying, but he's also relieved he is still with them.
Harumi then approached Scott as she waited for him to wake up after he was being healed by Neuro's magic and potions. Neuro, feeling sad for her then asks Lloyd to go and cheering her up which was effective as the two became friends instantly. Shade then looks over and walks to Bentho as he puts his hand on his shoulder, “don't worry, Scott will wake up eventually.” He said but Bentho wasn't too happy with him as it just made him even angrier. “They attack my family… they all should pay for that”
“And how are you going to take revenge on them? You can't just go all alone and attack them. You will be dead meat if you do.”
“I'll figure something else…. In meantime please take care of Harumi and Scott for me, I have something important to do”
With that Benthomaar left and went ahead to the deep sea to ask for help from the sea goddess, Nya. To simplify, Nya is bentho close friend when they were kids, and as a goddess it's her job to help him. After Benthomaar told her everything what happened in the Wicked Willow and what the human did to his family, Nya then gave him some of her power to take revenge on those hunters.

Meanwhile in the village across from Wicked Willow forest were lived those humans that wants to destroy the forest of the mysterious mythical creatures being lived, they just having a big party for celebrating that they have been slaying some certain medusa tail, a big celebration for them to turn it into a decorations for their village, they were so busy for their own small achievement. They didn't notice a rumble coming from the water near them, even the ocean was rumbling.
“did you feel it?” One of the hunters asked his friend who was already in the state of drunkenness.
“Must be your imagination”
There was a voice of a temptation that was coming out from the sea, some people from the village heard it too, not from just their drunkenness but they did hear a sound like a cry for help or some like calling for them to follow the voice. They all then went to the source of the sound as they then stopped at the sea where the sound came from. There was Bentho rising from the sea as he sang to the hunters as they all captivated by the siren voice. But as bentho kept singing, his voice went dark all of the sudden with a fury in it, making the hunters too late to notice it was all a trap.
“Get in the water”
One of the hunters noticed this and felt dread for what it's coming, still frozen in his place.
“Get in the water” he repeated again as some of them already went to the water, while one of them still left behind. “Or I'll raise the tide so high, all of your village will die. Get in the water”
“No. Wait–”
“Get in the water.”
“Stop this. Please”
Soon then a big tidak was made as it then madeshift into a water cage and chains that tied to the hunters, “I'll make tidal waves so profound, both your wife and your son will drown.” That's when the hunters realized as it was already too late, they were trying to escape as Bentho then made a big wave that was going to head over to the villagers. “NO!”
“Get in the water!”
“Never!” They struggled as the water chains kept tugging them to go in the water to make them drown. And soon Bentho then used the trident that he borrowed and made the water to make like a cage for them, and tugged the hunters below the water. “GET IN THE WATER!” He shout as he used the trident and raise the water surface level and makeshift them as sharp as a knife as the humans were terrified by it.
“Don't mistake my threats for bluff! You have lived more than enough! Get in the water”
Soon enough Bentho then drowned all of them in an instant, making them dead in the process. Not wanting to leave a track behind, he instantly drowned all of the villagers and their village. That was a revenge for what those humans do for hurting his home and family, especially when they were all trying to kill his fiancé and his daughter, they all got what it cost in the end. “I may have broken my morals to not kill nor hunt any humans. But what they did to my family was wrong and they deserve more than hell… I hope Nya and lord Garmadon will forgive me for what I have done.” He told himself as he disappeared into the water, watching as the village drowned and those dead bodies floating around.

Scott groaned as he woke up from his coma, the first thing he remembers was the fact his house was under attack and he almost died by protecting Harumi from the attack. “Where… am I?” He looked around, a new place he had never been into as he was laid down on a soft bed, he could see Harumi was playing happily with a baby dragon. “You're awake! Shade! Called Benthomaar, I think he's awake now!” A new voice could be heard and the next thing he knew Harumi ran over to his bed and hugged him, while crying happily. “Papa, you finally awake! I'm sorry I couldn't protect our home… if only I was strong enough– I–” Scott then hugged her tight, as he shed a tear.
“I'm sorry… I was the one that can't protect you or our home, but I'm glad you're safe”
Harumi then cried again, Shade and Neuro then looked at them with relief. Later the door then opened to see Benthomaar was now standing inside as he saw Scott awake, there was still blood on his hand but he didn't care as he rushed over to hug both Harumi and Scott. “You're awake! I'm so glad you're alright… I thought I might lose you and Harumi out there!” He hugs them tight as Scott smiles and returns the hug from both of them.
“it's alright… I will not ever leave you two.”
At this moment bentho didn't care if he was stained by bloods, what matters now is that his family was safe from harm.
