Work Text:
Aya took two steps into the small room, the only light coming from a lamp desk. The desk itself was cluttered with pieces of paper, the girl sitting at it was gripping her pencil as if her life depended on it. Aya could hear a song faintly leaking from the headphones the other girl was wearing.
Aya carefully walked towards the girl, putting her hand on her shoulder. The girl jumped and quickly put down her headphones looking up, worry fleeing her face just as fast as it came. “Mitsuki-san, you’re doing it again.” Aya frowned at Mitsuki’s state, her eyebags were more pronounced than usual, her hand was shaking, and she was still in the clothes she was wearing two days ago the last time Aya had come over.
The guitarist gave a weak smile and attempted to stifle a yawn. “I’m almost done, I swear.” Aya gave a deep sigh looking down into Mituski’s eyes.
“When was the last time you slept? Or ate?” Mitsuki looked away scratching her head. “Come on, you can finish this later.” Aya grabbed Mitsuki’s wrist and gently pulled her from the desk onto her bed. Mitsuki didn’t put up a fight, not having the energy to. The bed was small, Aya was pushed up against the wall with Mitsuki clinging to her shirt, her hand shaking to the point Aya could feel it.
Aya gently pulled Mitsuki towards her, the other girl's face buried into Aya’s chest. Mitsuki’s arms wrapped around Aya’s waist, as Aya ran her fingers through the other girl's hair. “Please don’t stop.” Mitsuki had said it so quietly, Aya almost hadn’t catched it.
Aya could feel her face heat up, and before she could reply she heard soft snores coming from the girl below her. Aya gently kissed the top of her head, whispering a good night before falling asleep.
