That ribbon always did look better on her.
Homura just couldn't help it. Madoka was so beautiful, and sweet, and kind. She had to pull Madoka down with her. Though it was only a matter of time before Madoka would realize her godhood again, Homura was satisfied with the small time they had together. She would find a way to bring Madoka back when the time came.
Homura shudders at the thought of Madoka leaving again. She won't allow her to leave her side anymore, she can't take another second without this girl by her.
She just wants to be near her. Soak up her radiant happiness, let it seep itself into her life as well. When they're alone, together, Homura is at her happiest. Is it safe for her to be this happy? Can her body truly withstand it? She worries about being so happy around Madoka that her soul leaves her body. Well then, she'll just have to take Madoka along with her.
Tying the ribbon into Madoka's hair, she softly smiles down at the girl in front of her. Madoka smiles back, and Homura can feel a little part of her brain reel.
"Homura-chan, can you do the pigtails, please?" Madoka asks sweetly. Even though it's quite a pain to do with Madoka's short but thick hair, Homura has no way of refusing when she sees that pretty smile.
"Of course. Anything for you, Madoka-chan." she replies. Madoka lightly chuckles, like she couldn't hardly believe Homura would do anything for her. She doesn't even know. So blissfully unaware, Homura has to fight back a smirk. She would do anything for Madoka. Madoka could demand she jump, and her only question would be "How high?". Madoka could demand she run across the country to get her flowers, food, anything, and she would do it with a smile on her face.
That is how devoted she is to Madoka.
When she's finished with the hairstyle, Madoka gives her a tight hug. Homura could die right here, and she would be satisfied.
Oh, who is she kidding? Homura is never satisfied. She won't ever be completely satiated until Madoka and her are cuddling in the same grave. Homura lightly presses a kiss to Madoka's forehead, and watches her face heat up. She revels in the fact that Madoka never blushes this much with anyone else. Not that brat Sayaka, or that idiot Kyoko. She'll burn this entire universe down before she lets someone else hold Madoka like this.
Just the thought makes Homura curl her arm around Madoka just a tad tighter. She notes the way the smaller girl plays with Homura's hair. She's never cared much for her appearance, but she knows Madoka likes her hair. If Madoka likes it, then she likes it. No questions asked.
"I wish my hair was as long as yours, Homura-chan." Madoka wistfully states as she starts to braid Homura's hair. The braid reminds Homura of when this cursed timeline first began. When she was new to the routine of saving Madoka over, and over, and over, and over again. She cringes at the sight of her braided hair, but it makes Madoka happy so she doesn't care to stop her. The sight of Madoka's glittering eyes and bright smile snaps Homura out of her thoughts.
"Homura-chan! You should come over to my house today! My parents want to meet you."
Hmm, it's a little early to be getting married... but Homura doesn't mind.
She has no qualms about asking Madoka's lovely parents for their daughter's hand in marriage. Homura starts thinking of all the gifts she should buy them. After all, they are Madoka's parents. She should greatly show her appreciation for them creating the sole reason she lives each day. Twirling her hair, Homura starts to blush. Being married to Madoka? That's stuff of dreams. Is she dreaming? She hopes she never wakes up.
"Homura-chan? Why are you blushing?" Madoka asks. She tilts her head like a little dog whenever she's confused, it's the cutest thing Homura's ever seen.
"I'm thinking of what ring you should wear once we get married, Madoka-chan."
"Wah- Ah- M- Married?!" Madoka screeches. Her face became as red as a tomato, Homura was impressed her blood could rush up to her face that quickly. Well, Madoka has always been extraordinary in every way possible.
Homura takes Madoka's hand, suddenly fueled by her wild desires.
"White would look beautiful for your dress, Madoka-chan. Do you think I should wear a dress as well? Hmm.. I'm not opposed to a suit, though. Whatever you want, it's all up to you. I'll do anything for you. When you're my wife, you'll never have to lift a finger." Homura rambles on, growing obsessive with this idea. Madoka has to lightly squeeze her hand to snap Homura out of it. She looks as shy as a little mouse.
"I think Homura-chan would make a pretty bride.. you should wear a dress too." she squeaks out.
Homura almost passes out from the suggestion of being Madoka's bride.
. . . . . . .
When Homura comes to, she realizes Madoka is a god again. Watching the girl ascend back up, she has no choice but to start scheming for their wedding.
