Summary
When Aventurine returns from the Nihility, Ratio expects Aventurine to reject him after he subtly confesses his feelings. However, he's surprised to find that Aventurine returned with a new lease on life. Aventurine tells Ratio that he realized he wants to do more than survive, but it's something that will take time to learn. Ratio promised to wait, no matter how long it took.
Three years later, Aventurine is finally ready to tell the good doctor how he feels, but after waiting for so long, he's unsure whether Ratio still wants him. Aventurine decides to take Ratio on one last mission together before deciding their fates. It's an easy mission, no gambles required, or at least that's what he thought when he first invited Ratio. How will the two fragile lovers fare when their mission goes awry, and Aventurine is cursed to offer his body and mind to the Family? How will Ratio find a way to rid Aventurine of this curse while escaping the hostile outskirt planet they are stuck on?
