(In the Watterson house, though very early in the morning...)
"Guys, come here quick!" Gumball shouted from his room, with the rest of his siblings urgently dashing upstairs to see what the young feline was on about.
"What's going on, dude?" Darwin asked as he ran into the room, although a bit exhausted.
The blue cat quickly hopped up in joy and eagerness upon the question by his best friend. "Well, I just remembered what day it is! Come on...guess it!"
After Gumball had asked them that though, Anais and Darwin could only look back at each other with puzzled expressions about the current attitude of their older brother.
However one of them didn't even get to think about the matter, as the suckerfish was already the first to go. "Uh, garbage day?"
"No...keep guessing!" the blue feline happily remarked.
"Um...someone's birthday?" Anais attempted to respond.
"No, but your answer is closer to the right one..! Come on..."
Eventually though, the two managed to deduce what Gumball was so happy about, and it made good reason honestly. "Is it your 10th anniversary with Penny today!?"
"YES!" the feline shouted back. "That's why I'm gonna do something to celebrate it!"
"But what are you gonna do? Throw a party or something?" Darwin asked.
"Nah, I'm just gonna take her out to do something easy going or like that. Honestly, I don't know if she even wants to see me to act that way anymore, dude."
"Well I think today's an appropriate day for that kind of celebration, Gumball! You know, since it's your 10th one..." Anais remarked, clearly putting emphasis on the number 10.
Upon finishing her statement, Gumball then began to have thoughts about what his sister had just said. It was his and Penny's 10th anniversary after all, and it didn't seem like today would be a day his girlfriend would ask him to stop being so over the edge or whatever now that he thought about it.
"Huh, I guess you're right, sis..."
Darwin, who was currently listening to this conversation, decided to motivate his brother as well. "Dude, she knows its your 10th anniversary today so if you do whatever you're gonna do, Penny won't care about it because it's a special day!"
"Well then...I'm sure Penny won't mind if I go a bit overboard today then..." Gumball finally said after a few minutes of thought.
Suddenly, Gumball came up with a idea before getting dressed and running off downstairs to plan his 10th anniversary with Penny. "Don't worry guys, I'll be back soon!"
"Heh, well I'm sure Penny is going to love today a lot..." Anais remarked.
"Yeah, she has a great boyfriend who cares about her..." Darwin added.
