Chapter Text

Takada Fuuka smiled at her friends nervously. “Guys, why did you want me to come out here to this club?” Fuuka mumbled to her friends.

“You keep yourself shut in your room girl. When was the last time you got out of the apartment? You can’t say it is because you are new to the area. You have been here for a year. Have friends like us. And you can’t say that it is because this town is run by a gang like SWORD. They are a Godsend to this town. Look everywhere you go.

“Us ladies are safer from the thugs that get handsy. A place for the unwanted where they are truly wanted and needed young or old. Gambling safely. Even the guys that don’t have a home to go back to or the brains to actually graduate high school. None of the shit from decades ago.”

“D-Don’t you find it odd?” Fuuka asked as she passed by an Oya student talking to a man in a Daruma jacket like they were old friends.

“The only odd thing here is that you haven’t been with a man for how long?” Another of her friends smirked at her. Fuuka had never been lucky in love. Always putting her foot in her mouth somewhere along the way. She doubted that she ever truly knew what love was because of that.

“I-I’m just looking for the right guy. Maybe one NOT in one of the gang’s branches?” She eyed a man in a white suit who bowed her into the club with a smirk.

“I think they are hotter,” another said as she quickly found a guy in ragged clothing but enjoying some drinks.

“Seriously why are there so many gang members here?” Fuuka whined.

“Because they are celebrating the birth of my kid.” Fuuka turned and saw a beautiful woman smiling at her. Her breath caught in her chest seeing this beautiful woman. She never thought about a woman like that but something about her captured her and she wasn’t sure if she wanted it to let her go.

“H-Hello.” Fuuka sighed.

“Ichika.” Ichika smiled at Fuuka. “Hino Ichika.”

“Uh...Names...Names are a thing.” Fuuka mumbled lost in her thoughts. “I-Ichika...No that’s your name.”

Ichika chuckled at her. “Breathe cutie.” Ichika sighed cressing Fuuka’s cheek. “It’ll come to you.”

“ FUUKA! ” Fuuka yelled startling some of the gang around them. Some of them smirked at Ichika. Ichika laughed at how cute she was.

“Come over here FUUKA!” Ichika chuckled. Fuuka blushed a little as Ichika led her by the hand to a secluded spot in the club. “What do you want to drink? Someone close to me got me into tequila.”

“Club soda.” Fuuka looked down at her feet, still embarrassed by how foolish she just was.

“That’s no fun. Go tell him to give us a Chika Special and a tequila.” Ichika said to one of the guys nearby.

“Chika Special?” Fuuka asked.

“A drink that they came up with...for me actually. I like it, but where I got my surname from REALLY likes tequila.” She smiled at Fuuka. “Speaking of ‘surnames’ do you have one or are you the new Cher?” Ichika smiled.

“Takada. Takada Fuuka.” Fuuka was still embarrassed.

“Embarrassment works on you.” Ichika smiled as their drinks arrived.

After a few hours, Fuuka was laughing with Ichika at some of their past dating experiences. “So...why are the gang members here to celebrate the birth of your kid?” Fuuka smiled at her. She was feeling tipsy but not drunk when she got like this she would get a little flirty. And that was the reason she wanted to get the topic off dating.

She was getting aroused and she didn’t know why. She caught herself multiple times before she would kiss Ichika. It didn’t help that Ichika seemed to be encouraging her sometimes. More than once she let her look down her top to see she wasn’t wearing a bra. “Boring. Twelve different flavors of boring.” Ichika smiled.

“But you,” Ichika teased her top like she was about to let her get a more intentional look. “You are twenty-seven flavors of...hot.” Ichika leaned in and kissed Fuuka lightly.

“I’ve never been with a woman before.” Fuuka breathed.

“Then allow me to change that.” Ichika kissed her passionately. As they kissed two members of the gang pulled the curtain to hide them from view to the delight of Fuuka who never wanted this night to end.

The next two weeks they spent all of their time together. Fuuka was afraid that she was going to lose her job but she didn’t care. Analytics was something she could do anywhere. She was more interested in this new and unique relationship. “Go do your job for once sexy.” Ichika smiled at her as she zipped up her boot.

Fuuka eyed the beauty sitting in her make-up chair. She was wearing her bra and skirt. They had spent the morning exploring the more physical side of their relationship. Fuuka clutched the sheets covering herself up as she sat up. “Can’t we just live here?” Fuuka asked with a smile.

Ichika chuckled as she walked over, leaned in, and kissed her. “I wish, my lover girl.” She grabbed her top and pulled it over her head. “But...I’ve left my little girl with...her sib–” Ichika sighed and looked away.

“Why do you do that?” Fuuka asked with a groan as she fell back onto her bed.

“Do what?” Ichika asked, clearly knowing the answer.

“Every now and then you are about to say a word, a sentence, TAKE A FUCKING CALL you stop like you are about to change the world and either change the subject or just not say what you were about to say.”

“Maybe because I am,” Ichika smirked sadly.

“D-Do you...Do you not feel the same way about me? You know this is the best relationship I have ever had. NO ONE comes close to you.” Fuuka sat up again. “I thought you felt the same way. Every time you kiss me I thought I felt it.”

“You do.” Ichika sighed confused. Ichika cursed. “My life is so confusing. And a sci-fi nerd’s wet dream. Beyond the smoking hot woman in my bed.” Ichika sighed. “You aren’t going to believe me.”

“Try me. I love you, Ichika.” Fuuka was shocked by how easy it was to say. Even after all this time together she never thought she could understand how this happened...just that she never wanted this to end.

“I’m going to introduce you to my family.” Ichika breathed like she was about to reveal some deep dark secret.

“Your family?” Fuuka asked unsure what this all could be leading to.

“Yes,” Ichika shook with nerves. “I...I...I have other children. IT’S ALL VERY COMPLICATED!” Ichika worried about Fuuka’s reaction. “All of my children are...are my husband’s and boyfriend’s.”

“YOU HAVE A HUSBAND?! And a boyfriend?”

“I told you it is complicated. And you have to meet them. All of them. DAMN IT!” Ichika slapped the bed. “I...I haven’t felt like this in a long time. I didn’t want this to end. I love you so much already. But you are right. I-I can’t keep this side of my life from you. BUT IT’S SO DAMN COMPLICATED! ” Ichika roared as she fell back on the bed.

“You love me?” Fuuka asked, pulling her up. Ichika looked away from her and then back into her eyes. And with a subtle nod of her head, Fuuka kissed her again. “That’s all I needed to know. When can I meet your family?” Fuuka smiled at her girlfriend.

Two days later Ichika and Fuuka walked hand in hand to Itokan. The two of them smiled at each other. They were a few blocks away. “Last chance to back out of the crazy.” Ichika teased with a smile.

“I love crazy.” Fuuka kissed her. They turned to face Itokan as it blew up.

“ MAMA! PAPA! ” Ichika ran up to the crater that was Itokan. “C-Cobra... Murayama...C-Chika.” She fell to her knees.

“If it isn’t little Ichika.” A snide voice said as Fuuka reached Ichika.

“ CLIVE?! ” Ichika yelled in rage. “I trusted you. A-And YOU did this?”

“I was always a little plant.” He looked a little sad but that lasted only a second. “The time where the future wasn’t set like this was back when we were kids. Now.” He pulled up a small gun. “Now is the time for SWORD to die.”

“OVER MY DEAD BODY!” Ichika growled.

“That’s the idea...my friend.” He shot Ichika in the heart. “Goodbye.”

“ICHIKA!!!” Fuuka yelled pain from a place she never knew existed escaped her. As she was bathed in light from behind her.

Ichika turned to look at her girlfriend. And then smirked seeing where the light came from. She struggled and pulled Fuuka into a kiss. “Save us,” Ichika grunted out as she pushed Fuuka with all of her might into the portal that had opened just behind them.

Fuuka landed in the same spot she was in just seconds before...but things were different somehow. She didn’t understand anything. Ichika was gone and so was Clive, whoever he was. As she stood up she spotted Itokan. It was fine. She walked over to a window. And peered inside. “Ichika, could you come and get the plates? I know you are excited to play with your daughter. BUT WORK FIRST!”

“Yes, Mama! Be right back, little one.” Fuuka saw Ichika. Her smile was so perfect to Fuuka that it brought tears to her eyes as she watched her pick up some plates of food.

“Baby.” Fuuka moaned. She rushed into Itokan and up to a confused-looking Ichika as she was pulled into a very passionate kiss as the plates that Ichika was meant to give to a very special customer fell to the ground.

“W-Welcome to Itokan...” Ichika moaned as Fuuka broke the kiss. “T-The specials are...FUCK IT!” Ichika growled and pulled Fuuka into a kiss. A door closed as Murayama walked out of the restroom. He saw his lunch on the floor.

“NAOMI. MY GIRLFRIEND DROPPED MY FOOD!” He walked past her kissing Fuuka. “And is that the new special?” He nodded to Ichika moaning into Fuuka’s mouth as she kissed her.

“N-No. Why is she kissing her?” Naomi asked.

“Who knows. Passing fancy? CHIKA! ” Murayama smirked at her. She jerked away from Fuuka.

“WHAT?!”

“One, you dropped my food. I came here because you have been begging me to treat this place as a second home and you dropped my food.” Ichika bit her lip sheepishly. “Two, if this is the new special MY GIRLFRIEND is offering to customers I have a whole list of people to hunt down and knee in the dick for daring to kiss you.” She rubbed the back of her neck clumsily. “And three, if YOUR HUSBAND finds you kissing someone like that...I’m not sure there is enough tequila in stock.”

“S-She kissed me first.” Ichika stammered.

“And you kissed her back.” Murayama smirked at her.

“IT WAS HOT!” She protested. Murayama kissed her lovingly.

“You are so lucky that I love you. My crazy Chika.”

“Y-You...You don’t recognize me?” Fuuka asked her timidly.

“Should I?” Ichika asked.

“WE SPENT TWO WEEKS TOGETHER!” Fuuka moaned. Ichika looked at her for a minute. She rested a hand on her cheek. Fuuka kissed the palm of her hand as tears fell down her face.

“What year do you think it is?” Ichika asked softly.

“20...2039.” Fuuka sobbed softly.

“That’s 16 years from now,” Naomi said softly.

“The woman you spent two weeks with. Was she also named Ichika?” she said softly.

“IT WAS YOU!” Fuuka sobbed.

“In a way. Yes, it was. Sit down. Tell me what happened.”

* * *

Fuuka sobbed onto Ichika’s shoulder as she tried to soothe her. “I’m so sorry sweetie. Just let it all out.” Ichika said softly as she rubbed her gently.

The door to Itokan swung open and a figure surreptitiously slipped inside, cocking an eyebrow at the scene before shrugging. The figure slid into a side booth and lit a cigarette while remaining silent and hidden.

“I know what it is like.” Ichika soothed.

“H-How could you? I watched her getting shot in the heart by him.” Fuuka sobbed.

“Because,” Ichika turned to look Cobra in the eyes as he took a drag from his cigarette. “I watched my husband die. Before I was sent back in time again and again.”

Cobra winced in sympathy, but didn’t speak. “Fuuka, sweetie. This is my husband. Cobra.”

“Cobra? What type of name is that?” Fuuka tried to wipe away tears.

“Once you get to know our guy it makes sense,” Murayama said softly.

“Trouble,” Ichika said to him softly.

Cobra slid farther into the shadows, his eyes glittering. “Why did I fall for the mysterious idiot?” Ichika sighed. “SOMEONE WANTS TO KILL ME!” Then she turned to Fuuka and winced in apology. “Sorry.” Ichika kissed her softly.

Cobra shook his head and took another drag before stubbing out the cigarette.

Murayama could see his hand shake and glimpsed bloody knuckles even in the dim light of his boyfriend’s booth. Ichika saw them too. Walked over to him. “Did you look for it or did it find you?” She tapped his knuckles softly.

“W-Why does he have blood on his knuckles?” Fuuka asked, confused.

“Interpretive dance.” Murayama sighed.

“Found me,” Cobra answered hoarsely. He kept his face averted from her eyes.

“At least there is that.” Ichika sighed. “Let me tell you the full story.” Little Ichika came running in from Kindergarten. Fuuka started tearing up again. “Mama?”

“On it. Come here little Ichika. Come and tell me about your day. Did you make any new friends?” She asked, leading her and Yamato away knowing he would freak out hearing this.

“YEAH. His name is Clive!” little Ichika cheered as she walked out of the room. Fuuka sobbed after hearing that.

“She...she is MY girlfriend.”

Cobra snickered softly. “Miho is gonna laugh so hard.”

Ichika smacked him on top of the head. “And she watched me die!” Ichika looked angry.

“Clive did it,” Fuuka growled. “He blew this place up and shot my girlfriend in the heart.”

“Portal?” Cobra’s voice was low.

“Yes. She, little Ichika, was going to tell her everything. Then...Clive? Little Ichika’s new friend?”

“HE’S NO FRIEND. The bastard said he was a plant.”

“A plant that took sixteen years to activate?” Murayama asked.

“Our granddaughters are on the way, another thing to ask them. Anyway, she brought her here. And this place blows up...with us inside from what I gathered. Then little Ichika is shot and shoves her through to this time and place.”

Cobra’s fingers tightened on his magazine’s pages. He wanted to hurt this Clive, but he couldn’t. Not in this present. He closed his eyes and began counting slowly to himself.

Ichika kissed him. “A time and a place for that.” Ichika sighed softly. “And I want the first crack at him.”

“Running the video camera again, I guess.” Cobra joked. “Never have anything else to do.”

“The best thing for you. My trophy husband.” Ichika smiled. They heard the door again and in walked their granddaughters. “About time you two showed up.”

“Sorry Oba-chan.” Ichika said.

“We were studying the multiverse,” Naomi said.

“Multiverse?” Fuuka asked.

“Yeah. We can still travel to your time and place...I just want some understanding.” Ichika looked at them. “We just found out whoever killed little me in Fuuka’s timeline is a child the 5-year-old me just met. Why did he wait 16 years?”

“Simple Oba-chan,” Ichika said sheepishly.

“You are truly a hard woman to get a hold of. Every time you would be at a party or a gathering or something. You would have to do something with SWORD. It was a Kuryu Group plan at first. They were planning this as their big return killing SWORD. But you kept stopping them and sending them to jail or the grave. In this timeline, Cobra Oji-san went after them. Missed Clive’s handler masquerading as his parent.”

There was a growl from Cobra. “Cobra Oji-san?” Naomi asked him, tilting her head looking at him.

“Never mind him. So this Clive is being used to get at us?” Ichika asked.

“Yes he is still a pawn and could one day find himself working for the new...you shouldn’t know about them yet,” Ichika said with a cheeky little smile.

“Not if I kill him,” Cobra answered.

“Hold it,” Ichika said, going over to him and pinning him in his booth. “More questions. Because I think this is a multi-phase plan, my beloved.”

“Oba-chan?” both girls asked together.

“Who did Fuuka’s Clive kill?”

“The older SWORD. Naomi Oba-chan, Yamato Oji-san. Your Murayama, Cobra Oji-san, and you. Along with Papa, Mamas, and Joe.” Ichika said, smirking.

“Leaving the kid versions of everyone. And the new baby that Oba-chan just had.” Naomi smiled.

Cobra tried to get up, his eyes blazing. “Check the bank for bail money. I’m killing a kid.”

“No you don’t!” Ichika growled.

“Why not? He killed you. HE KILLED THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!” Fuuka yelled.

“But he is a child.” Ichika looked sternly at both of them. “The ‘PARENT’ on the other hand. He will pay for what he has done to a five-year-old child. And the crimes that child would’ve done here in this timeline.”

“He’s Kuryu.” Cobra clenched his fists. “All of them need to be wiped out.”

“People said the same thing about Oya students.” Murayama sighed looking at him. “But we aren’t going to do that are we?”

Cobra went silent.

Ichika sighed as she looked at the man she loved. She knew what he was going through. And she knew what Fuuka was going through too. “Come here,” she said, taking Fuuka’s hand and dragging her over to his booth.

“W-What are you doing?” Fuuka’s heart was racing, having Ichika holding her hand.

She shoved Fuuka next to Cobra as gently as possible. “Cobra. Fuuka.” Ichika sighed looking at them. “We will get revenge for what Clive has done in your time.” She kissed Fuuka softly. She turned to Cobra. “And Kuryu will pay for what they are doing RIGHT NOW.” She kissed him just as softly. “But we won’t take it out on THIS Clive. We will save him.”

Cobra took a deep breath before nodding. “Can I get something cold to drink? Throat hurts.”

Now that she was closer to him, Ichika could see red marks encircling her husband’s throat along with a black eye and remnants of blood under his nose. Ichika thought about what he could have been doing to get them. She chuckled softly. But Fuuka’s eyes widened. “W-Why...Why does he have bruises and those look like he was strangled.”

“Because he was.” Ichika sighed looking at her. “Do I have some targets beyond this shitstain? Or are they handled?” Ichika smiled, hiding her worry about her husband behind it. She knew he was alright if he wanted a drink.

“The Rascals are on it. Guy was getting handsy with the girls and hitting any guy he saw. Clocked Kizzy and it turned into a brawl.” Cobra gave an apologetic smile.

“My husband, the big protector...when he isn’t getting drunk during his breakdowns.” Ichika smiled at him and kissed him. “Tequila then? But a small one. Need you ready for this fight to come.”

He chuckled. “Yes ma’am. And I had to protect her. The guy tried throwing her through the wall.”

Ichika smiled as she got up and walked over to the booze. “Papa, you can stop trying to listen at the door!” She smiled as he walked out sheepishly.

“W-Wait...why do all of you act like you are part of the gangs that control this town? W-Why would this Kuryu Group want to kill my Ichika? And why is time travel a thing?” Fuuka asked in a stream of questions.

“Time travel is our fault. We got everyone caught up in a quantum entanglement thing.” Naomi said with a smile. Both looked at their grandparents and great-grandfather with a smile knowing it was their turn.

“As for the gangs, you are currently in the headquarters of Sannoh Rengokai. And sitting next to the current head.” Cobra gave her a small smile.

“T-They...They were in the club.” Fuuka moaned thinking back to the first time she met Ichika. “Celebrating the birth of Ichika’s daughter.” She thought about it. “S-She was the leader of this gang?” Fuuka stumbled out.

“Correction,” Ichika said softly with one of her and her sisters’ patented super knowledgeable smiles. “The Ichika that you were dating was the leader of the whole of SWORD.”

“Daughter?” Ichika asked Fuuka. “Who was the father?”

“S-She said–” She looked at Cobra and Murayama. “She said they,” She nodded to them. “They were the only ones that would father her children.”

“Murayama has a daughter...The world should be terrified.” Cobra joked.

“Could be your...You would never jerk into a cup for her, would you? Congrats Murayama, it’s a girl.” Ichika smirked at both of her lovers.

“Yeah, I am that crazy,” Murayama smirked at the pair of them.

Cobra was about to reply when the door opened and a male wearing Oya colors slipped over to Murayama’s side. He whispered into Murayama’s ear, then stepped back.

“My new son-in-law just informed me we have trouble at Oya.” Murayama sighed.

“How’s my boy?” Ichika smirked at him. All of Oya knew that she loved Joe “like a son”. Thankfully they were so slow she could literally act like a mother and they would never figure it out like Chiharu had.

“He’s doing okay, ma’am. Murayama-san, stop calling me that!” The boy looked annoyed.

“It will only get worse when you, Joe, and Miho make it all official. Seriously get a move on!” Ichika smirked. “Are you going to be able to help or are you checking out of this for a minute?”

The boy gave her an evil smirk. “I already put a guy through a window for punching Joe-sensei.”

“W-Wait. Rascals...you said Rascals. White Rascals yeah?” Fuuka asked, turning to Cobra.

“Yeah. What’s wrong?”

“I-I-I...I’m an analyst. I...I work at seeing the patterns that normal people don’t. Isn’t it a bit odd that there were two attacks on two different gangs...so close together?”

Ichika looked at her and her men. “I believe I could kiss you,” Ichika smirked at Fuuka.

“R-Really?” Her eyes hopeful for the first time since they met her.

Cobra winked at Ichika as he turned over Fuuka’s question in his mind.

“We both know it is true. Even if there were twelve undergangs ready to take on each member of SWORD. They never attack at the same time. Soon to be son-in-law, what gang was it that attacked Oya?”

“Not sure. They weren’t wearing colors.”

“Another odd thing.” Ichika sighed. “JUNKO!”

“Yeah?” one of the Junko’s asked, looking at her mother-in-law.

“We had a gang attacking Oya earlier and then another one that was getting handsy with Rascal girls. Any idea which gangs?” Ichika asked.

“Hm.” She thought about it for a minute then looked at her phone. “Numbers would help.” Ichika looked at both men who had fought these gangs.

“There were only three guys at Heaven.” Cobra rubbed his throat gently.

“It was six at Oya, but they said they had more waiting for us.” The boy rolled his eyes. “Like we’re scared.”

Junko looked something up. “Hm...There is a gang with only three members in Rascal territory. They all have rainbow-colored hair like they are a techno punk group?” Junko asked Cobra as Ichika handed him his drink.

“I-I thought you said a small one?” Fuuka asked seeing the glass was the size of a standard glass of water.

Cobra laughed at Fuuka’s face before answering Junko. “Yeah, I saw rainbow hair right before I kicked the guy out the door.”

“Then that is the Rainbows. They didn’t have originality when they named themselves. It’s odd though the last I heard about them was they were talking to those remaining Kuryu boys.” She looked more into the other gang.

“Oya? Did the gang wear...how do I say this... Hentai shirts ?” She blushed as she spoke the words.

“That’s what got Joe-sensei hit! He made fun of them.” The boy laughed before looking at Ichika. “Name is Hada. Hada Teika.”

“Soon to be Hino Teika once I wear all three of you down,” Ichika smirked.

“That’s the Otaks. Otaku fans...for the adult stuff only. Boastful bastards. Surprised they didn’t start off saying they worked for the Emperor with how outlandish some of their lies get. Funny...” She thought about it for a minute. “They were talking to the Kuryu guys you killed before you told us about little Hina. That was a while back but still.”

“They should change their name to the losers.” Hada snickered.

Cobra went very still at the news of Kuryu’s involvement. What would it take to destroy it for good? His mind raced with possible ideas, but his face betrayed nothing as he drank his tequila.

Ichika kissed Cobra’s cheek as he drank knowing that he must be thinking a dozen ways to end all of Kuryu. Then she smirked at Fuuka and pulled her into a passionate kiss. Everyone’s eyes went wide except for Murayama who just smirked. “You earned that one.” Ichika moaned into her mouth.

“Junko. Put the gangs on red alert.” Ichika sighed, turning to her daughter-in-law.
