Mikasa can't look into Eren's eyes. Armin who noticed this doesn't say anything because he thought Mikasa and Eren having another fight. Still, Eren doesn't notice how Mikasa has been trying to avoid eye contact with him.
"Hey, Mikasa where did you go? I thought you supposed to pick me up." Eren put down his bag, settling himself at the desk before the class start.
Yesterday, the trio supposed to go hiking together. Mikasa suppose to invite Eren because Carla, Eren's mom not believing Eren unless Mikasa involved. Eren doesn't know why only Mikasa and Armin ended up not taking him as well.
"Really? Mikasa told me you're sick." Armin interfere from behind the seat.
Mikasa still keep silence. She can't exactly tell to both of them the truth. Yesterday, as promised she went to Eren's house to pick him up. She rang the bells many times but Eren just not coming out. So, she just open the door to look for Eren.
The house is bleak of noise since both Jeager out for their work. She continue to walk upstairs where Eren's room is, then stop on her track when she heard grunt. Like someone in pain. Worried, Mikasa open Eren's door and what befall her eyes right there something that's burning at the back of her eyelids forever.
Eren isn't in trouble. He's moaning while having two, no—three fingers up in his ass, thrusting in and out. Mikasa just saw her best friend, secretly crush, masturbating using his ass. They didn't continue the conversation because the class already started. Since then, Mikasa has been terribly quiet especially near Eren. She would avert her eyes every time they talk. Eren thought the situation already solved, but a week later and Mikasa still in this weird behaviour he can't named. He pull Mikasa away during recess to the hallway where it's not packed with another students.
"Mikasa, what's bothering you? You can tell me, you know." Eren sincerely holding Mikasa's hands. If before Mikasa heart is going to flutter of this small action, now her heart is dropping from all the jittery she has been having the whole week.
"Is it about me?" Eren's question is so innocent but Mikasa who's already full of guilt and anxiety from the secret couldn't help but combust on the spot.
"I saw you masturbate." There, the confession. She has made it clear. The burden on her shoulder lifted.
Now, in turn Eren mouth is gaping like fish on land desperate for water. Eren remember what he did on the day he, Mikasa and Armin supposed to go out hiking. "You're calling for me?" Jean popped his head in between Mikasa and Eren.
Eren knows Jean didn't hear the first part but, well, his fist is too fast before he can rationalise himself.
"The fuck Jeager!"
Eren saw, Jean on the floor clutching his cheek. Mikasa, for the first time eyes bulging at the moment. Armin who coming to get them witnessing the scene unfolding in slow motion.
In a quick decision to save himself, Eren choose to run. Not a fight. No, not this time. He runs, bumping on anyone on his way. Blood is rushing to his head.
Mikasa caught him in act. A shameful act.
