Work Text:
Dianne was a simple woman. She was. It was easy for her to follow in her parents’ footsteps and be a baker, take over the business.
But she hates to be touched. She hates it with a passion. Any man’s touch—save her father’s—made her skin crawl. Perhaps that was why she kissed a girl behind the tavern when she was sixteen.
No matter the reason, she was quick to fall in love with the Princess. Maybe that was the first mistake; to let herself be loved when she knew she’d have to give it up.
