Happy Ending

Summary:

“They live happily ever after.”
It’s always the last sentence of the fairy tale. And it should be that of their story, too.

Notes:

I am Chinese and not a native English speaker. I like Jihoon Juyoung ship so much and want to see them with a happy ending, so I wrote a small passage and translated it into English. Hope you understand it and enjoy it :)

Work Text:

I won’t let the story end like this.

I would like to let them hold a small wedding on a perfectly temperate autumn day, in the newly rented old tea house, with only Juyoung’s family, the newlyweds’ friends, and warm neighbors as guests. Juyoung’s first client, Mr. Sa Mujang, will serve as the host, while his wife will be the wedding banquet chef. Jun and Yeowon, are bubbling with excitement at being chosen as the flower children. Mr. Baek Hyun-mu, will be their chief witness, and his granddaughter, Baek Mari, will get to know her sisterly role model, the ace lawyer Lee Juyoung (along with her newlywed husband as a prosecutor, of course). The young lady will receive the bouquet of white calla lilies - symbolizing loyal love - from the bride as blessings. Jihun will greet and bow to Juyoung’s parents, genuinely calling them “Mom” and “Dad” . Then, in front of the fish tank, the couple will exchange rings, hug and kiss each other tenderly. At that moment, Seo Min-hyuk will be struggling to hold back his tears, which will draw playful scolds from his superior Na Yejin just immersed in such moving scenes. The landlady, Ms. Cho, will rush over to hug Juyoung, saying that the rent will be free till the end of the year, just as her gift for their wedding. The autumn sunshine will pour through the windows of the 2nd floor at 100, Pongjin Road, then into the clear and vibrant fish tank, and cast a warm glow in Juyoung’s deep amber eyes. Chun Jihun will smile into the gentle eyes and say: “I love you so much.”
