It was a typical post patrol night with everyone down in the bat cave. Bruce was on his computer when he received an encrypted email, while not necessarily unusual it was enough to grab his attention especially seeing the subject line of a single word, just a name but enough to have his heart rate picking up.
“Dixie”
Dixie has been on a mission with the Titans for a little over than a week and not expected back for a few more days, but seeing his daughters name brings forth fear. Anything could have happened while she was away, far from her family and the only people he can truly trust with her safety. This could be a ransom demand for all he knows. With this thought in mind he opens the email briefly tensing as he waits for its contents to open. This little bit of tension is enough to attract his children’s attention, having them turn to face him and by extension his computer. But looking closely it seems to be a playlist. Somewhat baffled he turns around to look at the other occupants of the cave wondering if this a prank from one of his more mischievous kids, but all this does is fully draw their attention as they head over to see what’s going on.
Stephanie is the first to reach him,“Is that a playlist? Did Dixie send it?”
“No way isn’t she off the grid right now?”
“What’s going on?”
Still wondering that himself Bruce clicks on the first file, as soon as it begins playing audio the room quiets as they recognize the voice now singing.

“Woah I didn’t know Dixie could sing” Duke, being the newest addition to the family doesn’t find this strange but it seems that he’s not the only person unaware of this fact.
“Tch of course she can I don’t know why you are all so surprised.”
“Well not everyone is young enough to need a lullaby from big sis to get to sleep,” Tim can’t resist saying, never one to pass up a chance to annoy their youngest.
“Shut up already I’m trying to hear!”

Everyone listens quietly admiring the music, but also wondering when this was recorded and why. Dixie had never mentioned anything about this, but this song was clearly an original seeing as none of them recognized it.

Jason spoke up “Calm down bat brat it’s just lyrics and Dixie can handle herself.”
“Tch.”

As the song ended Bruce had a hunch that all the files would be a song sung by Dixie, though he still had no clue who could have sent them and what their purpose was.
“Are all those songs by Dixie?”
“That seems to be the case,” answered Bruce.
This had all the siblings perking up a bit, excited to hear more of Dixie singing.
Cassandra hesitantly spoke up, a bit worried letting this continue, “Private.”
Thinking about it carefully Bruce decided it would be better to listen to all of the files in the hopes that they could ascertain the motives behind the email sent to him. Hearing his thoughts everyone agreed though some more hesitant now that they realized that this was an invasion of their beloved sister’s privacy.
